Was told by the guy at the big box outdoor store that these won’t run a fish finder all day and to not waste my money. He priced me out at about $600 worth of batteries and harnesses weighing about 80 pounds. I decided to ignore that and buy this instead. This thing is amazing. I ran my Garmin with traditional and clear vu at the same time for almost 12 hours straight on max brightness. Was scared the battery was going to die, as I’ve never used it this long before. When I got home and plugged it in I hadn’t even used 25% of the battery. It’s compact, doesn’t weigh me down, and was a much more palatable price. I would buy this again any day.

Powers the Garmin very well. Adding the iPhone/usb cords (available separately) makes it a must have for all day.

I just got a new fish finder for my kayak and it powers the Hook fish finder for 8 straight hours with only minimal drain on the battery (over 3/4 battery left afterwards) Very compact and efficient. I would highly recommend

This is a great battery for a fishing kayak lights and GPS/fish finder electronics. The 10AMH battery will power my fishing electronics (Garmin Striker 4) for 40-50 hours and will power lights and electronics for 30-35 hours. The battery is small and very light weight. It can easily be situated anywhere in a kayak. The only drawback I have is the price. To me the price is very high, but the battery is light and can power what you need for a long time. One word of advice is to make sure the battery is not submerged in water. My last Yak Attack battery was submerged in water for an hour or two due to a leak in the front hatch while fishing in the ocean. Even though the battery is supposed to be silicon sealed water leaked and ruined the 2-year-old battery. To fix this situation from occurring again I recommend mounting the battery at least 3-4 inches off the bottom of the kayak (like this one is now) to keep it from being submerged and/or cover it from getting wet if mounted outside the kayak. My mistake (education) cost me $130.00 for a new battery. If you want a light weight and powerful battery for your small boat/kayak this is it.

I love YakAttack but don't make my mistake, instead of this one go buy the exact same battery from Nocqua without the YakAttack branding for less money. Anyway this battery is fantastic and it comes with the charger. It's about the size of a baseball and weighs about the same. I'm using one to run my fish finder and one to run my lighting on my Hobie Outback. One battery could do both but I sometimes go kayak camping for several days and while I have solar panels the phone and go pros take priority on charging.

I bought a set of 4 of these batteries to power my kayak and power my two fish finders, lights and a small 12 volt fan and last all day. I bought one of these for my fishfinder and I fished around 8 hours and still had battery left when using my Lowrance all day. Very convenient. I liked it enough that I bout 3 more and added a Yak Power Waterproof box and it will hold 5 of these for a total of 50 ah worth of batteries if desired. I am using 4 for the 40 ah and I also had a 4 ah batter of same kind and put it in my box for my 5th battery in this box. This gives me 44 ah worth of battery. It lasts all day fishing and easy to recharge again with supplied charger. These are covered and waterproof as well as all connectors making it great even if you don't have a waterproof box. It can just sit in kayak and get wet and will not hurt a thing. They are expensive, but has lots of power for such a small battery.
