1.Style:Wiring Kit - Gridloc Xl (pair)

  • GridLoc Through Hull Wiring Kit is ideal for applications where wires need to be ran through the kayak or boat hulls, it is ideal for removable fish finder pods on kayaks and also is compatible with Gridlock mounts of YakAttack BlackPak Pro Crates
  • Backside access of install area is not required for installation, but does require a 1" hole - includes 14 rubber inserts with common hole sizes ranging from 0.08” to 0.389” in diameter, 4 blank inserts, 2 nylon grommets, and 2 sets of hardware
  • If your install requires more than 1” of clearance to run wires or connectors, the GridLoc Through Hull Wiring Kit XL version (1.5” hole) of this product would be the better option - for a waterproof seal, marine sealant is required
  • Note that this is an updated version of our original Through Hull Wiring Kit as compatibility with the GridLoc hole pattern was added to this new version, in addition we added 2 more blank inserts and 2 smaller 0.8" inserts for smaller wires
  • Sold as a set of 2 - built for use in the harshest of marine conditions, made in the USA with a built for life guarantee

Bought this to install Garmin ECHOMAP UHD2 93sv on my PDL 106, super easy to install. There's a ton of video's on-line that show exactly ho to do it.

This produce does what it says. It allows you to use your Blackpac Pro as a battery box.It includes different inserts based on wire size but, if your going to use it for a Garmin Livescope install your gonna have to cut the insert to get the transducer wire thru the insert because of the end fitting. This doesn't hurt the fitting other than allowing you to put the wire thru. The ruber used for these inserts is very thick and strong and the fitting itself has a retainer lip on one face that alines everything together.Overal fitment is great! They are kind of over priced for what they are. If your a DIY kind of fabricator you can fab up cheaper oppions. They do offer an easier aplication for those that don't have those kind of skills and provide a quality looking install.Be advised you will need to pickup 1 1/2 inch hole saw to install these fitings. In the picture I also installed a USB socket and a Garmin Network hub adapter and they looked just as good as these fittings.

Used to run power and transducer cables through the hull of my 2022 Slayer Max 10. Very simple to install (although a bit scary drilling into the kayak for the first time) and having all the different size grommets make installing any wire or cable a breeze. They even give you a couple solid halfs incase you are only running one cable or need to drill your own tiny hole for a single small gauge wire. I have a good amount of YakAttack products and they are all first class!

What can I say? The YakAttack GridLoc Through Hull Wiring Kits do exactly as they say they will. I just wish that, for the price, it came with more than two nylon grommets.

Had to run wires for my fish finder and this gave that nice clean and professional look when I had to drill some holes for routing the cables. Great purchase, easy to use and would purchase again!

I chose Yak Attack because it allows the installation with the need to access the inside of the hull to screw on a backing nut to secure the thru-hull portion of the mount. If you don't mind the visible screws, its still a clean looking install. and it performs just as described.
