The tip of the tool could be thinner to allow access to smaller holes. The smallest hole I can use with this tool is about 1/8". I would need the tip to be thinner to access holes down to 1/16".

I bought these for a one time use job of reaming out tuning machine holes on a Martin acoustic to put on some newer upgraded tuners. Worked like it should but the quality is obviously cheap for cheap tools. worked though.

I use it exclusively for guitar repairs. The quality of these reamers is very good, they work very well. If they had a chance to break, I would buy again.
