Nice idea, and cheap to buy, BUT... The largest bearing was really not usable, very unstable and poorly made. I used it once and considered myself lucky; I will retire it now. The cutter is fine, and I haven't used the smaller bearings although they look better. I need it for cutting guitar binding ledges, and ended up spending $120 on a set from Amana.

Very disappointed with this bit. I was using it with the smallest bearing on half speed and after about a minute the bearing disintegrated resulting in my work being ruined. You can see the remnants of it in the picture I uploaded. It could have been more dangerous with the larger bearings, hence I will be sending it back for a refund. It is a shame because the bit cut nicely.

I used this to put a rabbet in the bottom of a box to put an inset base. Needed slightly more than .50" rabbet. Did it in two passes. Worked perfectly. Clean cuts; No drag or binding. Even cut cleanly through a knot I foolishly placed at the bottom of one side. Oops. Don't know how it will perform over time, but I'm hopeful. Great price and well worth it.

Purchased to do some small rebate cuts, and needed the largest bearing to achieve this. But the bearing hits the cutting blades as the spine isn't raised enough for it to spin freely. Useless and poor design.

The screw isn't precisely machined so is a little tough to screw/unscrew when changing bearings (yes I cleaned it out). But the cuts are accurate. The lack of shear angle means taking smaller cuts is recommended vs hogging out much over 1/8" at a time, but it works fine.

I have rabbeted about 50 feet of cabinet backs with a Dewalt router at speed setting 3 and the results are good. Clean cuts, no vibration and no tear out. As long as I don't run this bit at to high a speed I think the sharpness will last. The wrench that comes with the bit doesn't fit tightly so I used a 2.5mm wrench to loosen the bolt so I could change bearings. The bolt took considerable effort to initially break the torque, nothing I haven't encountered with other new bits.

Great bit. It cut through the Douglas fir I was using like butter. I made a rookie mistake by having the bit extended too far and Yakamoz offered to replace or reimburse me. Definitely a good company to buy stuff from. I’m getting a new set of bits from them and I can’t wait.

I am quite happy with this. Allows me to do rabbits of multiple sizes with a single bit. Easy to adjust, and it comes with a handy spindle for holding the bearings not in use. Seems reasonably sharp, but not super sharp. About what I expected for the price.

Bit may be inexpensive but it served it's purpose well. I used this while making 4 table saw inserts. My plywood was too thick so i used this bit to cut a rabbet so the insert would sit flush. Plywood is rough on router bits and this survived 4 inserts. So the bit has paid for itself when considering the cost of factory made inserts. 4 inserts would have cost over $100. The only issue is some of the yellow paint flaked off so minus 1 star but really a great deal when compared to cost.
