I was surprised by the over all quality & strength of this vertical weight holder to hold 280 lbs of weights. For the price paid. It is holding off against the competition that is much heavier & double or triple in price. This was a bargain for what it can do. Recommend for those who do not want to overpay for a vertical weight stand. To focus on spending instead on necessary weight plates.

While the product serves a good purpose and was easy to assemble, one of the bars that holds the plates was too big and as a result, is not able to hold any plates. For this reason, I can't give it 5 stars.

First and foremost the seller is shady as hell. They keep trying to remove my review. They will not return your product in an indirect way. They will send you a USPS return label that YOU have to pay for and given the size of this useless heap of tin, you would end up paying more than the product itself. So do yourself a favor and do not buy it and put yourself in the debacle I find myself in.Second, the plate tree is defective. It has faulty screws that do not screw on wrenches. They have round edges so a wrench can't grip them. So cheaply made it's unbelievable. After you put the arms in the cross-section, the screws have no holes to go in. Also, the BIGGEST negative is that its whole purpose is to fit and hold plates, and my bumper or rubber plates do not fit so I'm not sure who manufactured this but it is useless. Even if they fit I don't know if it would hold that much weight.Third, I'm not sure how this product has 4+ stars. I'm sure they have something going on with the reviews. Don't make my mistake and try to buy from companies like this, because it was cheaper on Amazon. Do your research more and a few bucks more sometimes from a reputable source will save you a lot of headaches.

When fully loaded it is very slightly wobbly, nothing to be concerned about though. There are no stops on the cylinders to get them centered, you have to measure on your own. Otherwise great, takes up minimal space compared to other trees. One of the bolts I received (philips head) had a factory defect where it was smooth. Quick and simple install.

It took me about 20 min to install at most. Simple instructions and it’s very sturdy and holds the weights firmly. I have about 225lbs on it and it can easily hold much more. It’s taller than I thought, but yet doesn’t take up a whole lot of room and it holds 2 Olympic bars and there’s plenty of room between weights It Holds Olympic weight plates as well, along with collars. It stands 55” tall x 24” deep x 26” wide ( but here you need clearance to get your weights off). Black powder coat holds plates firm with no sleep and it’s easy enough to get on and off. They seem like it will scrape up with use, but that’s normal and I don’t have evidence yet since it’s new.
