I purchased this because I wanted something that was portable, convenient, and of course-- alleviated back pain. The cushion itself works just fine and is supportive. My criticism comes for the value for the money, as I paid over $30 for this item, I would say the investment in cost seemed to be more for the elaborate design than overall functionality of the item as the fabric is beginning to pill and the functionality of the item is basic. I did not have a giant blue handprint design on my cushion, simply a raised, sewn in design as pictured, however the "look" of the item was not why I purchased this. The back has a simple clasp and is slightly stretchy, but overall I feel I over-paid for this even if it works, estimating the cost to be more a greater value if there were more functional elements to the cushion.Overall point: Works fine ( not a miracle worker), supports but could probably find a comparable one for less money, Average quality of outer material, Decent-quality cushion comfort. Wouldn't re-purchase.

With this cushion, I'm able to drive on 12 hour, 700 km roadtrips as a solo driver in my family. It has the right blend of firmness and softness and the anti-skid material on the bottom prevents the cushion from sliding off when I get into the car or off it.Over my usage period of half a decade, the cushion has held its quality and still feels new, minus probably a bit of inevtiable compression losses to the foam material.

My desk chair needs extra cushioning, especially when I am studying or playing video games for an extended period of time. My previous kept sliding, didn't cover the full seat, was too thin, and had those nubs on it that were supposed to be helpful. I saw this and decided to spend the extra money - so glad I did.Upsides: It fits the entire width of my seat of my chair and provides relief on my legs. The thickness is great, it's not hot on my bum, and there's no nubbies to annoy me. It has a handle on the top for ease of taking to other places. At first, I was like whatever but now I understand why someone would take it different places. The cover is removable so it can be thrown into the wash.Downsides: Every time I go to sit down I find one of my cats passed out on my chair and I have to wake them up to get down. They LOVE this pad. My cats do not cuddle with each other but they will share space on my chair. It takes a hot minute to defur the pad due to the texture of the material. My cats will now meow at me when I'm in MY chair because they want to sit in it so I had to provide alternative seating next to me. Not quite as comfy as their beloved pad but it comes with pets and a fuzzy blanket (they are so spoiled).

When this arrived rolled up like a swiss roll I thought 'If this can be rolled that tight its not going to provide much support' & I wasn't wrong - very thin cheap foam cushion being sold as supportive. If I could give this ZEROSTARS I would & for the price it's an absolute rip off!! As a wheelchair user I'm fed up with this cheap unsupportive foam rubbish being sold as something comfortable to sit on or providing any kind of support or relief from seating discomfort!!

This cushion works okay but it pushes me too forward in my vehicle, as do most cushions like this and I was hoping it wouldn't. I don't use it the entire time I'm driving on a long trip and was only intended to be used to change the position of my back after about 90 minutes of driving assuming I'm driving at least another 30-60 minutes longer. Although I would not buy this again I do think it's one of the better seat cushions on the market.How I review:When I review a product said product automatically starts with four stars as I rarely will purchase anything below four stars. I then add and/subtract stars based on certain criteria as listed below.1. If an item is exactly what I expected and nothing more it will receive a four star rating2. If an item surpasses my expectations it will gain a star3. If an item goes slightly below my expectations it will lose a star4. If the instructions for the product (if needed) are poorly written (hard to understand due to language issues or grammar) or just too hard to follow it will lose a star no matter if the product meets or exceed my expectations5. If a product is significantly below my expectations I will deduct two stars6. It will be rare that I would give a product one star since I buy mostly items that have a 4+ rating but in rare instances there may be a good reason that even a four star product gets a one star rating from me. It could be because of customer service issues from the company but whatever the case is I will clearly explain my reason for giving a product only one star

I'm happy with this purchase. I'm a quite short woman and I drive a big truck. People actually laugh when they see me climb in. I had trouble seeing over the wheel and the factory seat is very uncomfortable; it slants backward at the most upright setting and offers no back support. I’ve back surgeries and it was painful to drive. I bought this cushion and it gave me the height I needed and is comfortable. I wish it had another inch of height. It is also a little too wide at the back to fit all the way back in the curve of the seat. Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars. This cushion does slide forward a bit when I get in and out but does not slide when sitting and a little less width at the point where it touches the seat back would solve that problem. I like that it is wide at the front and covers the entire seat. I think that might make a big difference to someone with wider legs than me. I now have a comfortable ride. It’s also really easy for other drivers to just pick it up and move it out of the way.I read some negative reviews that this cushion smashes down too much and is not firm. I do not find it sinks in that much and I am using it for height but, of course, it compresses somewhat. It would not be comfortable for relieving pain if it was too hard. I think it is a pretty good combination of firm support and soft comfort.I agree with some reviewers that it is way more expensive than it needs to be although it is very well made. I edited this review because I have had it for a couple of years now with absolutely no visible wear and no loss of support. For that I am adding back the star I took off earlier but leaving in the reason I took one star off originally. I can now say it is comfortable on long trips. It has seriously saved my butt and my back on several long trips. it is much more comfortable than the factory seat and those trips would have been really painful to me.I highly recommend you try it. I am so glad I have it.
