Works fine as long as you don't lose the cap, which I did the first dive. However, my wife's worked well for the whole trip, and as soon as we returned, we contacted XS Scuba, and Kevin promptly sent a replacement cap. We need to tie better knots! Thanks to Kevin for taking care of us.

I Liked the material and quality of the item. The noise is not that loud but once you get used to it you will defnetly knows someone is calling. For bufdy divers I liked. Recommend specilly by the value per the price paid.

Love this product.....Only thing I would suggest to anyone who buys it is, attach a lanyard to it as a safety feature because there is no locking mechanism on the spring loaded clip.

It rattles and is about the cheapest rattle stick I have found. When you get it, the first thing you need to do is redo the knots that hold the cap to the body of the rattle stick. Other than that, it works great!

Tried this on my last dive, my dive buddy was about 15ft away from me and couldn't hear it! Just not loud enough.-Fresh water- 60 degree temp
