Total waste of money time and materialWaited til it warmed up to install. cleaned and prep ed well, adhesive was bad did not last 3 weeks.Great rubber

When the weather gets cold the material get really stiff and prevents the tail gate from coming down. It is very hard lifting and dropping. It even lifts the gate of it hinges. Go for the thinner and more flexible material. I had to use a heat gun to move the tail gate After 3 months the gasket cracked in half. I will be using black tape and replacing it every couple years. good luck

I've been looking for something like this to keep the soil, hay and straw from falling through the crack of my tailgate instead of laying a piece of cardboard down every time. Adhesive sticks well and it works as expected.
