I use these bands for my wig poses, they lasted me a long time, I prefer the black one so I can go out with it in case of an emergency but they really do their job

If you have clothing that you love the design, the color, the fit needs to be loved as well. If you have been watching the pounds drop, your clothes may not fit like they did last summer. Time to take up that slack, stitch in some fresh elastic, fold over that waist band. This item comes in Black and White. One roll of each. Plus you can choose the width you want to work with. Just a quick measure of what is currently trying to do the job, wallah the width required. To get the length right, wrap the end around your area to be snugged, bring the end & roll together, when snug enough, place thumb on roll end where they meet. You can also have an open safety pin waiting instead of your thumb. Remember that the cloth will also add bulk to the opening when finished, about 1/2 inch. Which means your garment will feel even tighter. If unsure, test the fit by using a safety pin to overlap the ends. Then wear the elastic band for the day as you go about chores or your daily activities. These rolls have an ample length, so your experiment is worth it to get a proper comfortable & happy fit. To sew the elastic in to a garment, you will do one whole edge around, then again stitching the second edge. Do not stretch the elastic as you sew. After 5 or 6 stitches, you can stop for a moment and stretch out what you have done to see if the fabric is able to keep up. All fabrics are different, even over their life span they may change, it is a variable that is a constant.Remember the stitching has to give/stretch just as much as the elastic does. A loose zig-zag: A. Zig--catch some fabric, B. Zag--angle towards the elastic, catch the new elastic 1/8 inch in from its edge, pivot and Zig to catch another stitch in your fabric. This is loose stitching and can be easily removed. When you have the
