Light-weight and easy to set up. My dog is about 45 pounds, and this works. It wouldn't work for my bigger dog.

Don't laugh - I got this for an English bulldog. But he's a rescue and he doesn't have a lot of confidence. I wanted to find something fun we could do together to bond and give him a sense of accomplishment. This set is perfect for that. He's never going to be agile enough to go darting through the weave poles or sprinting through the tunnel, and I'll probably never move the jump higher than the very lowest setting, but we're having so much fun just messing around with it - most importantly, HE is having fun, and he is SO HAPPY when he jumps through the hoop or actually ducks around a weave pole!Right now there is at least a foot of snow on the ground here so we haven't gotten much chance to use the jump or the weave poles, but I've been putting the tunnel up for him and he's always eager to run through it and get pets and a biscuit on the other side.

This agility set is nice for a startup set to see if you and your dog would enjoy training for this type of event. The material for the poles and ring are not very sturdy so not sure how long that it will last (will update should we need to). Looks like they have thought of everything you will need to start your new adventure. They even included a setup for a box area to get your dog to stay in! When the weather gets better here, we are super excited to set it up outside as the poles must be stuck into the ground.

The whole kit comes with everything in the pictures. It's a fantastic start to a nice dog friendly play yard. The materials seem to be of a nice quality. The stitching was done well, finished seams. The instructions have easy to follow illustrations, no need to actually read. The poles are a beautiful vibrant color, they are lighter than PVC but seem sturdy enough. I will update my review if there are any issues over time. As of right now, I am very happy, my dogs look forward to our setting up.I was considering leaving it up through the winter but decided to pack it up till spring. The carry case makes storage pretty easy.

This dog agility course is fantastic for small dogs. The opening is about 24-inches, so smaller dogs (small and medium) will have lots of fun running, jumping, and crawling through. Larger dogs would only get stuck, so definitely measure your dog's height and consider their mobility because if they can't get down and scoot/crawl themselves forward, then this is something to work up to or avoid. That said, it's great fun for smaller, active dogs and it will definitely tire them out so you can relax.

This is a minimum duty dog trainer set that is mostly lightweight plastic that is not overlay sturdy. The running tube is very short but my dog had not fear of it which is nice, tube is around 5 ft long. The stakes are okay with metal stakes that screw into the poles but the poles are flimsy. The just poles are okay but a little narrow. Easy to adjust and the clamps that allow it to slide up and down are very good quality. Everything is easy to setup and comes with a nice carry bag to hold everything. Only bad about the bag is you have to unscrew all the metal stakes of they will put a hole in the bag. An ok starter set.

My 7yo has been "training" our dogs for several years. I haven't gotten an agility course before because I couldn't find one that had all the peices I wanted, for a reasonable price. This set has a "Place" square marker, hoop, weave poles, poles for holding the hoop, a tunnel, and a jump bar, with accompanying connector and ground spikes. The hoop is a stiff plastic, with a space smaller than a hula hoop, but plenty of space for a good sized dog to go through. The tunnel is nice and large, and our larger dogs were not afraid to go through it.The jump bar is adjustable and snaps on to the connectors. You can make the space wider, if you have a "thick" dog.The weave poles, are nice and sturdy, but still flexible enough that if a dog runs into it, they aren't slamming into a steel pole. The spikes are good and strong, easily attach to the poles, and slipped into my hard desert ground pretty easily. Appreciate the spike covers for when the set is not in use.Cute bags everything fits in, unless you're leaving the poles connected, then the poles are too long, but the tunnel and hoop fit in the bag.

So the dog's capability is down to how well the trainer is able to work with the dog, but a decent set of equipment also helps. This is a pretty solid set of equipment, as far as backyard agility kits go. It's sturdy enough to stand up to moderate use, and it stakes into the ground pretty decently. It seems as though it should hold up to moderate weather changes, although it would be best to keep the equipment inside over the winter or during heavy storms.
