Review of XHF 40 PCS Self Adhesive Cable Clips (XL) White,Wire Clips Cable Management Wire Organizer Cord Holder for Under Desk, Car, Wall, TV PC Ethernet CableI wanted to get some cords off the floor for my robot vacuum. First, I inserted the cord(s) I wanted to clip up to the wall in the cable clips to ensure they would fit okay. I wiped down the walls with rubbing alcohol and let it dry. Then I applied these clips and let them cure for a little over 24 hours, all this per the instructions. The clip openings are not really as wide as I would like since I have thicker cords that I would like to adhere to the wall near the baseboard in some cases. However, they do accommodate cords almost ¼ inches in diameter, but that is really pushing it. I liked that they could accommodate several smaller cords/cables. They snap closed easily enough. Time will tell how well they hold to the wall, but so far, so good.

The fact that they clamp closed is so helpful! They are so inexpensive that you don’t have to worry about jamming too many into one. So happy I stumbled on them. I keep sharing this product to all my musician friends!

In today's world I think that pretty much every person has cords all over the place. Charging cords, entertainment cords, speaker cords, and the list goes on. I am definitely no exception to this and so I thought I would give these a shot. First off, they are actually pretty well made. The plastic is not cheap and thin, so these should hold up without breaking (more on this in a second). They have a 'clip' that locks them shut and that you have to push to open. The lock holds its ground very well. I didn't realize you had to release the lock at first and just tried to 'Hulk' it and it didn't give easily at all. So, the confidence for the product itself is definitely high. The only thing I worry about - is the tape adhesive. The product DOES use 3M brand, which is a good brand historically with other items I've used. But tape just seems so hit and miss for me. I realize that this product does tell you exactly how they work, so I am not holding this against the product. But it would really have made the product even better if it had a very small 'pilot' hole in the center of the base. One that would give you the option to use a small screw or nail if you decided that you wanted to ensure a couple cords were not too heavy. But other than that, they are great. I actually have the cord to this laptop (along with my phone charger) in one of these organizers now and it is holding up just fine. The quality that I mentioned earlier was put through the test when I decided that I want one of these to be secured with a small screw. I open the clamp and proceed to pull the 'lid' back far enough to be able to drill a pilot hold in the base. Keep in mind, these are NOT designed on a hinge - this was 100% myself BENDING the lid backwards against its original design. It held up while I drilled it. It held up while I drilled a screw into it, into the wall. And it closed back up and latched just like it had never been bent. So, you can count on the quality since this was bent and drilled all at once with NO damage to it and no warping. You are getting 80 of these which is enough to basically organize your entire electrical armada of cords. So, the price is good too.
