The gold looks great on the upper side of my furniture pieces. It opens and clamps the charging cord so you are not digging for it. I have one on the upper side of my nightstand which is ready to charge my iPod when I sleep. Another one on the side rim of my round pub table next to my favorite chair in the living room and lastly on the right side of my desk. Perfect! The cords look neat, stylish and meant to be there. They have purpose, and they are NOT on the floor.
