The duvet is very pretty shade of green and it looks nice. However, it would not stay on the bed throughout night. It literally slid into the floor with normal movement multiple times throughout a single night. I had to return it due to functionality.

I thought with some of these reviews it was going to be crunchy or something, this duvet cover is so soft! The velvet, fur backing, and fur are all really nice. Also the ties inside seem sturdy and the zipper is well hidden. I agree it's a cheap zipper, but if you sew you know how expensive good zippers are.No it doesn't compare with a $1,000 luxury cover but this was ninety bucks Canadian for the duvet and 2 shams. At this price it's easily 5 stars. Also the "light beige" I got is clearly ivory (off white towards yellow) which you can kind of guess from the pictures.

I had initial doubts about purchasing this duvet cover. But after unpacking it and slipping in my duvet, I was sold. It’s really soft and fluffy. The color is rich, just like in the pictures. I live in northern Canada, where the winter temperatures often dip to minus 30 C, and sometimes down to minus 40 C at night. My bedroom is very cool at night. This duvet cover keeps me sufficiently warm. It feels luxurious. Both the top and underside of the cover are soft. I may purchase another one in a different color in the future. The one I got is “king-sized”. One tip: if you have a queen-sized bed like I do, choose the king-sized cover. It will drape over the sides of your bed, but not overly so. I think had a chosen a queen-sized cover, it would not have covered my bed as well.

This duvet is absolutely the softest thing you can imagine. It’s like falling asleep on a pile of chinchillas! It’s quite warm, and could be used on its own, or used as a duvet. So it is multi functional. I use it as a duvet, and it’s the 2nd time I’ve purchased it. It is made of quality material and can be used year round. It doesn’t wrinkle, there is no pilling, and it doesn’t shed. Those are all key components of nice bedding. As far as it staying in place; it does shift a bit but I am a “tosser and turner”. The only complaint I have is that it only has tie downs on the corners. I added additional tie downs on the middle of each side to keep the comforter from shifting around. I bought a black on, then a grey one. I washed it, dried it on low heat and it has held up well. I deducted one star because of the tie downs, but don’t let that stop you from getting this. It is truly the most comfortable thing I’ve ever bought for my beds, and the price is great! Oh, it also breathes well, so if you are a “hot sleeper” like me, you can rest assured that you won’t overheat. Pair it with the right sheets and you will sleep like a baby.

If you’re wondering if you should, just do it! This duvet cover is absolutely beautiful. I don’t understand the bad reviews, because it’s exactly as described. It’s extremely soft and fluffy. I bought this for my daughter’s bed. She was coming home from school and I was wanting to surprise her. and She also is in love with it, she kept telling me thank you. Things to keep in mind when you buy it based on some of the negative comments I saw:1) This is a duvet COVER, not a comforter. If you want a thick comforter then buy a thick duvet insert.2) The zipper works just fine as long as you’re not treating it like a pair of jeans. This is not denim or a tough material, so be kind.3) This washes up and dries beautifully as long as you read and follow the directions. I washed it straight out of the package, just as I do with all new bedding. I read the directions first, but assumed that due to the faux fur it would need to be washed inside out on delicate/gentle/hand wash whatever your wash machine setting is. I was correct. Drying it took some patience because it does fold up into its self. Every 10 min. or so I would just go and gently shake it down and it would unfold. I stick it back in the dryer and start it back up.Was it a little more time consuming to wash and dry than a normal blanket? Yup, but it’s not just a normalblanket either. I would definitely buy it again.

Don’t get me wrong this is a beautiful quilt cover, just no where near as fluffy as promised. A bit disappointing
