Highly recommended, it matches perfectly with the color of my controller, no stains at all. And also, it works more than fine for the price.

This is not a texting kit as the discription depicts, it is simply a chatpad, not a bad price for one either just not what I ordered. The seller will state in a response that this is what Amazon made him pick for a picture? Why he could not upload his own, or search out pictures for a chatpad, which I might add is being sold on Amazon right now. I can not tell you why the seller stated that it was only a picture for a chatpad that he saw. You see the picture you click below it states this item comes with a microphone, which is what I wanted texting kit chatpad with microphone. Buyer beware if you do not buy these items together they will not work together, if purchasing a separate mic they plug into the same slot. So if you are looking for a KIT do not buy any off of Amazon unless you are able to contact the seller and make sure you can get the KIT with chatpad and microphone. Thanks for listening disappointed buyer... This not Amazons fault as I stated these chatpads are being sold singularly as well...

When I received this product, it looked a little shady to me. It tries to display itself as a Microsoft licensed product, but it really isn't. However, I have used it several times since I acquired it and I have to say it makes typing on the 360 easy. The attachment fits snuggly onto the controller and does what its meant to do. I highly recommend this if you want the same thing as the real Microsoft version but don't want to pay the high ridiculous price they're charging.

This keyboard makes playing Final Fantasy XI so much easier, however, it is actually missing buttons that are required for Final Fantasy XI chat functions. The control key is used by Final Fantasy XI to quickly reply to a /tell sent by another player. Since there is no control key one must manually type it in.The "/" key is in green. But pressing the green button happens to make all the text disappear. So to type "/" (which is required for just about every chat function in the game) I have to press the green button, then the button with "/" in it, then the green button again, then the "/" button again... and even then it doesn't happen all the time. The ' key is also behind green, which is on the other side of the keypad from where it normally would be on a regular keyboard. Which is weird. So I end up using the , key instead. Then there is no tab key. Which is required by Final Fantasy XI to use auto translate. However, this game is in the onscreen keyboard. So to use auto translate I have to use a combination of the two keyboards which is kind of redundant. And then chat itself is too sensative. I feel like a snake with a lisp. All the letters double very often. To be fair, this only seems to happen within a game, and not in xbox live messages, but I only really use it within a game. While the backlit is a nice feature, it turns itself off too fast and can't be disabled when it is otherwise daylight so wastes allot of battery life from my wireless controller. And while having Shift, Green, and Orange, to fit so many more characters than the number of keys, it's still a tedious function. All in all, I would say that it is fun to have a keyboard attached to a controller, but it is not very practical. For the money spent on this I should have instead purchased a regular USB keyboard and just plugged it into the Xbox directly. I could even have bought a mini wireless USB keyboard with a backlight and it wouldn't have been that much of a hassel to use.So I give it 5 stars for fun, but 3 stars overall because of limited usability.

First of all, I wasn't even expecting the headset that comes with the keyboard. And the price of the headset also helped make this purchase worth the $19.99 price at the time that amazon was offering.I am another one with small hands and this doesn't feel like it gets in the way. I can type fast, and I find typing very easy to do with my thumbs. The keyboard snaps on and requires a bit of pressure to do so. The headset that's included can then be plugged into the bottom of the chatpad.I also have a logitech wireless keyboard with touchpad but for some games this just makes moving between controller and typing easier.Very comfortable, easy to use and get used to. There aren't any exotic keys like you would find on a fancy usb keyboard but that's good, it keeps the face of the board simple: numbers on the top row; letters on the second row; letters on the third row with a comma to the far right; letters on the fourth row with a shift key on the left and the enter key on the right; backspace, left and right movement, chat and two "modifier" keys called AMBER and GREEN. These keys allow you to toggle between a-z on the keyboard and the other characters printed on them, allowing you to add accent marks to letters."The XBOX 360 Chatpad does not work with the original XBOX 360 Headset with volume controls on the cable connector." - Chatpad manualChatpads are programmed with different language characters based on where they were intended to be sold. Make sure you don't order one from Hong Kong! :) I don't know if they can be reprogrammed with XBOX live.

If you like to send text messages over XBLive or wish to use the MSN support, this chatpad is a must. The keyboard has a nice solid feel when you click the buttons. The unit is backlit, letters are east to see. Works very well, you can type fairly fast without an issue. This is especially useful if you have to fill out forms or input settings and things like that. I would have given it 5 stars, but its not yet supported in many games (like in chat lobbies for example). It does work with EA's skate (when you see the virutal sidekick), so thats pretty cool. For the cheap price its going for, its totally worth it. It also comes with an extra headset (that only works with the chatpad) but then you can use the old headset for the 2P controller so it works out. Overall a fun little accessory even just to make your controller looked tricked out.
