My handles are already pretty scratched up but i’m hoping these will help to prevent further damage. I tried also putting one of the thin strips on my side mirrors but they ended up falling off, they did not have strong enough adhesive to stay on the curved part of the mirror.

I have these on two of my vehicles. I have the clear and do not even notice they are there, but they do indeed protect the door surface from those unwanted fingernail scratches at door handles.

At first I thought this was not fitting correctly at all I fought with it and it still had wrinkles. I installed late at night on a cool evening. The very next day I noticed they had shrunk in the sun and flattened out perfectly. Don’t get discouraged at first! They ended up fitting better than I would have thought and now my wife’s nails don’t scratch the paint 😂🤣

I have a 2024 ElantraI recommend either applying them on a hot day with your car door already heated, or using a heat gun. It’ll mold better and have no air bubbles. It’s great for avoiding nail/ ring scratches in the door handle. Love it!
