I used it to protect the paint when doing final assembly after veh was painted all in pieces. Actually was not concerned about getting out air bubbles for this application. Did a good job for what I was using it for. Have always used masking tape to protect the paint. This is much heavier and worked much better.

Have a car used primarily for autocross and HPDE track days. Have tried different racers tape and painters tape with various success. I keep the car in good condition, but it’s earned a few paint scars along the way. Wanted to protect primarily behind each wheel well, lower fenders, and the rockers below the doors from road debris. This tape performs well protecting the car. I wouldn’t like the appearance of an occasional bubble or wrinkle as a long term solution, but it’s not designed to be a cosmetic vinyl wrap. Take your time when applying and it looks fine at a glance. What little residue sometimes remains easily waxes, which is not a problem. If I used this for a street car on a road trip, I would be careful with the front bumper and hood edges to tuck away the sides from wind. It removes easily (a good thing), so be aware if used at highway speeds for extended periods.

Tried this for a 1200 mile trip as a temporary ppf. Didn't do well in snow, rain, and wind. Started falling off an hour into driving with snow weather. Did leave slight residue. Also, took some clear coat off carbon fiber hood. May work better in dry conditions.

I enjoyed having the added road salt and element protection as I went for a short trip on the highway as I tried out the track tape.I found the installation fairly easy as I had a former commercial, residential and auto window tint business in the past.This track tape has excellent Stick, Durability and thickness.Easy Tip:1. It is always best to clean off all surfaces just as I previously would perform on glass prior to installing tint.2. If possible to garage your vehicle in a heated environment that will also help with adhesion, that being said if the surface is too cold it will affect the ability to adhere properly to the vehicle.This track tape comes in an easily manageable sized roll and it functions as intended.I recommend this exceptionally priced clear track tape.

Living in Florida, every long trip in the car can become an entomology lesson, especially during love bug season.I usually used a bug barrier spray on my front end before I left. It was quick and easy, but it would rinse off in a heavy rain storm and I would generally have to wash the car as soon as I got home to remove the spray and bug guts. That was not something I always felt like doing as soon as I got back from a long trip.This track day tape is the better way to accomplish that protection. I would recommend starting with a clean car, it adheres better. This tape applies quickly and easily. It might not look super attractive, but it affords excellent protection.On a recent trip I had no issue with the film lifting. As soon as I got home, I took it off. It removed easily and left no residue. There weren't a lot of bugs, but every bug it caught was one that didn't get on my paint. I have no way of knowing how many rock chips it might have prevented.There are similar films out there from well known brands and some are thicker. Those also cost several times what this TapeManBlue film costs. Made in America is a bonus.

Will not use again. doesn't lay well. Left adhesive residue. I'll spend the extra money and stick with Xpel

I used this on a 2100 mile road trip up the east coast to protect the front for my truck from road debris and bugs. Easy to apply and remove, reapplied after half way, edges started working loose, and the loose tape left a residue from slapping the area from the wind, removed with bug and tar remover. Would use again.
