I recently applied the 3M Clear Paint Protection Film to my high-end road bike to protect its paint from scratches and rock chips, and I’m thoroughly impressed with the results. The film lives up to its reputation for durability and clarity, offering excellent protection without altering the bike’s appearance.Applying the film was relatively straightforward, though it did require some patience and precision. The film is highly flexible and conforms well to the bike’s contours, which made the installation process smoother.Once applied, the film is nearly invisible and has held up remarkably well against various elements. It effectively repels minor scratches and rock chips, keeping the paint underneath pristine. Cleaning the film is easy; it maintains its clarity and doesn’t yellow over time. However, there are a few downsides. The film is quite pricey, and the roll doesn’t provide a large amount of coverage. Despite the name suggesting a bulk roll, there was barely enough material to cover the underside of the down tube, the drive side chain stay, and part of the top tube on my road bike. This quantity would not be sufficient for larger vehicles or even to cover a car bumper. I wish it came in larger sheets and at a more affordable price.Overall, the 3M Clear Paint Protection Film is a top-notch choice for preserving your bike's paint job while maintaining a sleek, factory-fresh look. It’s a worthwhile investment for long-term protection and peace of mind, but be sure to measure your coverage area carefully, as you will likely need more than one roll.

I use this film on my motorcycle to protect the paint in several small areas. Easy to apply, last for several years, and it doesn't affect the original paint. Great for areas where your boots may scuffs, keys may make contact, even between the seat and gas tank. Invisible when installed properly. Just spray on a little soapy water, position the film, squeegee out the water and let it dry.

This stuff is fantastic. Just make sure you spray enough water on it so it can move around. Once placed you can slide it a bit, but don't pull it off and try to reapply, because it will likely not adhere. This is the second time buying it. Love it.

Es una publicidad falsa. El costo es demasiado alto para un pedazo tan pequeño que no cubre un raspón

I replaced fairly thin and somewhat damaged factory film protection from the chain stay on my 2021 Tarmac SL-7 and added protection to my 2024 Stumpjumper Evo Expert - after noticing some shoe scuffs on the stays - on the stays and downtube. The material cuts easily with either scissors or utility knife (with a sharp blade). I used latex shop gloves to install the protection as it is very easy to get fingerprint oil on the very edges after pealing the backing paper off. I've had this on my bike for about a month now and several washes later there is no sign of the material pealing at the edges. Pro tip: round the edges so there are no square corners. This will significantly reduce the chance of the edges pealing when you wipe or clean your bike.

First of all, you don't get what's pictured in the product page for this product. You get what you see in the image I uploaded.A mini roll of adhesive paper.3M makes good products so I'm not disappointed there.I just don't like how they mislead you with the giant roll of material but you get the tiny roll in the mail.Product is fine and it will protect whatever you want to use it on.My hope is that the adhesive doesn't start to dry up or otherwise fail causing damage to my bike paint.

Great product I use inside the feet well of cars to not scuff up the plastic, I also use them on the edges of doors so the rumba doesn’t eat the finish of the door frame or door, I also use it on the edge of cabinets so water doesn’t cause the paint to flakeGreat product just make sure to stretch it and take out all air bubbles to make it look invisibleAlso be aware it does leave a little bit of a shine to whatever you place it on the darker the product the more the shine will be noticedPretty useful to product takes time to become an expertMake sure to practice with a small piece prior on something you don’t mind marking. So far has not taken any paint off in the objects however if you wanna remove I recommend using a hairdryer and taking off very slowly
