Bought it for my electric tricycle and it is loud and easy to use and install. It provides a sensitive movement to set the alarm off and is audible for a long distance.

This is an easy to set up alarm, and can easily be heard. I like the fact that the first contact gives a quick alert, allowing for an accidental bump, but is on guard for further movement a few seconds later when it lets everyone know it's there. The small remote is a very helpful.UPDATE: It already stopped working. If I shake it, it works very loud, but if you bump the bike or shake the bike nothing happens. Not sure why it stopped working so fast.

I have a scooter because of my disability this alarm is great because my bike is too big to bring in the house so I have peace of mind, also if my scooter falls over with me on it , The sound it makes is S.O.S.

I love this thing. Took me a bit to figure out how to adjust sensitivity, volume, etc. though it's fine just leaving the default settings. The instructions are to press the disarm button and hold it until the blue light stays lit around the arm button. I would do this, but the blue light would then go out. I finally realized that if I held it a couple seconds longer, it would stay lit and then allow me to use the adjustments. There's a good YouTube video posted by a guy that explains this alarm and how to adjust settings. And it works! If anything jostles the bike, it gives a sharp warning tone and stops. If the jostling continues, it sounds a siren alarm. And it's LOUD at full volume. Also features a horn sort of thing that has three possible tones that you can select. For the price, I don't think you can beat it's value at keeping people away from your bike.Could easily get anyone with bad intent to run like a rabbit, not to mention startling them badly. As to mounting, the unit I got came with a clamp mount and bushing to mount to round bar or bike frame, however I decided to mount it using the included zip ties and mounted it to bike rack under my rack bag where it's essentially invisible. I taped a bit of cut up inner tube to the rack and then zip tied it to that and it holds very securely and as mentioned, is unnoticeable. It runs on a button battery I believe, which is replaceable. When you arm it, it plays an ascending series of notes. Then wait for a little beep which confirms it's armed. When you disarm, it plays descending notes. The remote is plastic and looks kind of chincy with chromed buttons, but it's easy to put on key ring with my bike key and cable lock key.I leave this alarm armed when bike is in my garage just in case. Very happy with it.

Recently someone tried to cut through my u-lock and steal my electric bike. It was a failed attempt but it made me realize I need an alarm system for my bike. I ordered this and got it on time. Comes with everything you need to install it. I chose zip ties to put it under the baby carrier attached to my bike. Its very loud and will definitely get the attention of our neighbors and us at night. Its very sensitive also coz one time it was windy and the alarm went off. Overall its a good investment for your expensive bike.

I hope this alarm lasts because I like it a lot. It's mounted on my bicycle underneath the seat on the seat post. It sounds the alarm if I simply touch the basket over the rear wheel, or if I move the handlebar while parked. It only took about two minutes to install it and it is easy to operate. The alarm is loud and can be heard from a distance. It seems to be sturdy and well built. At least so far one month into use, it has worked flawlessly and still startles me when I try to move the bike out of the garage without first disarming the alarm. My only real negative is that it is giving me a false sense of security. I've caught myself twice leaving it outside a store with just the alarm engaged. I need to remember to also use the bike locks that I carry with me. Nevertheless, for the price I think I got a good deal.

I am in Palm Springs, bike theft is an art here. I also have panniers and a trunk bag on my bike, I do most most of the grocery shopping while we are here. Those get stolen too, as do seats and pretty much everything not welded to the locked bike. A headlight left last year, hence this purchase. This thing give a warning blast if the bike is touched. If you are locked to a rack and someone is putting a bike near you it doesn't trigger unless the vibration persists. Pretty much never have a bike in the rack slot next to mine as a result.I wrap my chain lock around my bags, as well. It is loud enough that I believe a potential thief would move on. This seems pretty darn effective.

The one thing I do not like about this device, is once you calibrated the bike, in the up right Riding position. The Alarm will reactivate itself. While the alarm is turned off.If you lean the bicycle over more than the 45 degree angle,(Which is Noted)in the (Opperation Manual) for any purposes whatsoever, the alarm will sound continuously, in Short bursts of the Panic Mode Sound. You then push the fob button to deactivate it. The alarm will shut off, for about 20 seconds. The alarm will reactivate itself automatically intoPanic Mode and continue to chirp out the same noises.Because the bike is not in the standing upright Riding position.I have not been able to figure out how to solve this problem. It is nowhere in the 2 page Operating Manual/instructions.If you need to lay the bike down, or flip it upside down, to change your wheels, tires or tubes, Etc. The Alarm will Reactivate itself again and continue to chirp after about 20 seconds. Because it is not in the upright riding position. The Fob is great.Although there is not a button to completely shut the device off.As I stated beginning of this review, I have not been able to figure out how to shut it completely off where it will not make sounds without uninstalling it and removing the battery.Everything else beyond that is really good. Somebody gets near the bike and barely vibrates the bicycle while it's locked up it makes warning sound before the alarm starts screaming uncontrollable at the top of the 113 decibel sound wave. All in All, it is a very good device, for those who have high-end bicycles. And have Low-end Neighbors.
