This driveway alarm works well, and has phenomenal range.Comes with all you need except a 9V battery.The 3 stars is for the hose.First: no matter how warm it gets outside, the tightly curled end will NOT lay flat. If you're using this for a wider driveway it needs to be anchored at both ends and pulled very tight. Even then it will have "waves" in it.Secondly, the hose is for light traffic and light vehicles, we tried to use this at an oilfield gate we are working security at with regular passenger cars as well as trucks.You can see in the pics what happened to the hose.It lasted about 4 days, then had to be repaired. I tried to "shield" it with a garden hose but no success, 1 week later, same result.The transmitter and base are great! The hose, not at all, and without the hose, it's useless.

Easy to instal and has worked perfectly . Probably 500 ft away up hill . Only negative ... is the BLUE light on the receiver in the home. it will light up the room so bright . I put some slivers of duck tape over the light and tried to shield it . boy it is bright !

This driveway alarm was easy to install. You are able to change your sound settings - which I like. I find it loud enough to hear when anywhere in my home - no problem there. I have just normal residental use. The hose seems thick enough to handle being on my stone driveway - but that is my only concern - will the hose hold up. I'll post again if it doesn't. But for now, I am very well pleased that I finally found a good solution to "know who is coming"!

This was extremely easy to set up! Including the time it took me to walk 1/10 of a mile down my driveway it took less than 15 minutes. I have had 2 solar driveway alarms (without a rubber strip to run over) and both of them crapped out on me and quit working. The solar alarms were unreliable. This driveway alarm works every the time, without fail! WAY better than the other driveway alarms I have had. There are no false alarms, and it ALWAYS works. I wish I had found this alarm first, I could have saved myself a lot of money and aggravation!! And, I really like it's a small business in the U.S.!! The only thing I would change is that the alarm could be a smidge louder.

This is a wonderful device especially when you live on a yard and don’t always hear cars coming into it. It’s easy to assemble but it has an American plug so it needs a transformer an adapter plug won’t work. It is easily rectified and is a really good item which we are very happy with. We have been looking for one of these for years and thankfully we now have it. The seller is extremely helpful and responds quickly to all queries. I highly recommend it. 👍
