Short summary:-- the readings, especially the diastolic, are higher than what I get with our preferred blood pressure monitor-- has voice feature that can be set to On or Off-- easy to use-- useful user manualMore details:Here is how I use this wrist blood pressure monitor:1. I wrap this monitor on my wrist2. I put my elbow on the table, while making sure that the monitor is at the same level as my heart3. I press the Start buttonThen, the monitor starts operating, and a voice begins talking. Soon after, I get my reading. What's included in the product:1. wrist blood pressure monitor2. storage case3. user manual4. two AAA batteriesIt is difficult to put the batteries into the battery compartment, because there's so little space to put the battery in.The numbers on the screen are easy to read.I like that I could understand what the voice/speaker is saying. I have the option to turn the voice/speaker off if I want to.HOWEVER, the readings that I get are higher than what I typically get when using our preferred blood pressure monitor. Specifically, my diastolic blood pressure is typically 78-82.But, when using this wrist blood pressure monitor, it usually gives a diastolic reading in the range of 86-92.Lastly, the user manual is informative in helping me understand how to operate this blood pressure monitor - very easy to follow and to understand.Overall, while this wrist blood pressure monitor is more convenient and faster to use than our preferred blood pressure monitor (which requires putting the cuff on my upper arm), the readings are a bit higher.

I really would have liked to give a higher rating for this unit. I like its simplicity in use and features. But, I am concerned about the readings. I have a Shoulder-Armband style (more common) blood pressure reading unit and have found the Shoulder-Armband unit seems to correspond with readings I get at the doctor office. I generally have good BP readings in the SYS:120-130 range and DIA:70-80 range. This is considered Optimal to Normal blood pressure. With this Wrist unit, I am finding readings of SYS:130-150 and DIA:90-100 range that puts me in a High Normal to possible Mild Hypertension range. I did check multiple readings going from the Wrist unit to the Shoulder-Armband unit for comparison purposes. So which one is accurate? As stated, I have to go with the Shoulder-Armband because those readings are more in-line with my doctor visit readings. With that stated, I do like the simplicity in using this Wrist unit. It does come with a plastic carrying case for storage that has a dual purpose of using it to rest your arm on during a measurement. This allows your arm to relax and elevates it so the wrist is at heart level while seated (i.e., the recommended measurement position). The unit itself just wraps around the wrist. Based on pictures of the product, the measurement unit should be on the wrist inside (i.e., palm of hand facing upward). Then you press the 'Start' button and wait while it does a reading. Simple. The results are displayed very clearly in the LCD display (see picture). You can turn-off the unit by pressing the 'Stop' button or it will automatically turn-off after 3-minutes. The unit runs on two-AAA batteries. The unit supports memory for 2-persons. You select which person is using from a button on the unit face. It will default to the last person selected each time of use until you select a different person. Memory is kept for each person and past measurements can be reviewed by pressing the "MEM' button on the unit face. Initial device setup is when you enter the Date and Time that will be recorded with your measurements in memory. And there is a voice system that will audio-playback your readings. I did not care for this feature to be on and fortunately you can Enable/Disable this feature. It can be a nice feature to enable for some. The device feels very well constructed. I have no issues with the features and ease of use. My main concern as stated above is whether the readings are accurate.
