Steps to Get Accurate Readings
- Find a quiet and comfortable place to sit. Sit up straight with your back supported and feet flat on the floor. Rest your arm on a table or armrest, keeping it at heart level.
- Take a few minutes to relax and rest before taking the measurement. Avoid any physical activity, caffeine, or smoking for at least 30 minutes prior to the measurement.
- The monitor should be aligned with your heart, so adjust the positioning if needed.
- Keep your arm and wrist still during the measurement. Avoid talking or moving until the measurement is complete.
- For the most accurate results, take multiple readings with a short rest period between each reading. This helps to account for any variations and ensures consistency.

I've had this about 5 months and have only used it a few times. First of all it will not keep the time, date, etc. Once you turn it off and turn it back on it's gone back to original numbers. It does not give you accurate readings. I can take it over (immediately after having just done it) and the reading is completely different.

The blood pressure monitor does not require batteries, instead it comes with a charging cord. The cuff also "talks" letting you know to keep the cuff at same height as heart and to keep quiet. After it is done measuring, it reads out the numbers and states whether "normal" or "Abnormal". If cuff is not tight enough, you move, or your wrist is not at the correct height, it will give error message and to try again. Great value for money. easier to self check BP than with arm cuff and measurements seem to be accurate and within range of what doctors office is getting.

The cuff is huge and can accommodate big wrists. I like that bc anyone can use it. My wrist is 7 inches and it's almost too big. It's great though for anyone with a larger wrist though. When I go to my next Dr visit I will take with me and see how it measures up against their readings. May update.
