I like this tool because you can use a strip and cut squares or use this tool on the same strip and cut triangle and it allows for the seam on the bias

I have the EZ angle ruler in multiple sizes. This one works well with jelly rolls and strips up to 4.5”. I like being able to cut squares, rectangles and HSTs from the same size strip, and this saves me from having to trim down to make the HSTs the correct size.

Making half square triangles...easy peasy! Until I need to conserve every bit of the jelly roll! Enter easy angle ruler. It is so easy to use and accurate, I was able to use the entire jelly roll strip and only have a 1/8 th inch piece left over. So, so glad I had this ruler!! I will use it regularly!!

Bought to help speed up and more accurately cut triangles. Works well and another notion for my collection. Why struggle or guess when these little helpers are available?! Will be buying a few as little treats for Christmas.

I had never used an easy angle triangle before and absolutely love this. It is the perfect size for squares or triangles less than 5 inches. I'm fairly new to quilting and am very glad I found this. It makes making those squares and especially triangles super, super easy and fast.

Compared to other rulers on the market, this is a great value. I am not an experienced quilter, and it took me a few tries to get accurate half square triangles with this ruler. In my experience, to get good results with this tool, you need to press and starch your fabrics before you begin, and make sure that you cut your initial strips with the line completely on the fabric, not the table. For example, if you are cutting your triangles from 2 1/2" strips, make sure the 2 1/2" line is completely on the fabric when you are cutting your fabric into strips. I also found that I had to adjust my 1/4" seam just a smidge---this is where that "scant" seam allowance comes in. Make a few practice HST with scraps before you start your project to make sure you have the hang of it before you cut into your "real" fabric. Someone who is experienced would probably know these things, but I had to work with the ruler a little to figure them out. I am giving the tool four stars because the instructions could be more detailed and beginner-friendly.

I use this for drawing, and it works beautifully. I know thats not the desired application, but for making hand drawn comic book squares, the simplification is beautiful. The measurements are true and line up with my professional mechanicals' as well, and the thing survives being banged around my back pack no problem.
