Bought this a a replacement for my refrigerator. Instalation was pretty simple and straight forward. Worked fine for about 2 months then it began overfilling and running over and freezing in the bottom of my freezer. I removed the ice maker thawed everything out and reinstalled. It made 3 trays of ice and again began to run over and freezer and freeze ice on the bottom of the freeze. This all happened merely 7 days after my return window ended. That sucks and I don't have an icemaker that works.

I installed this the day I got it. It only took about ten minutes and was making ice within thirty minutes. Great replacement for a good price. It does what it’s supposed to do!

I installed this ice maker in 10 minutes in my Frigidaire. Just had to loosen 2 screws (not remove), unplug the old unit, Plug the new unit and tighten the 2 screws back. Took just a 1/4" socket with handle. Very easy.

replaced my ice maker on a side by side GE profile 20 years old. fits exact ( power plug, one screw slide out) . Comes with extra parts for other models. Very well made, made ice in 2 hours.

Just got installed about an hour ago and it is making ice like crazy- seems like even better than OEM. Very simple operation. Installation is a bit tricky as there is not enough room to get your eyes on the mounting screws but once you get that figured out its a piece of cake. As a recommendation, it would be nice if the manufacturer included a note that the ice maker will need to come down to temp before it will work. This isn't like the old school ones that you can jump to run a cycle.

This ice maker was easy to install and works perfectly. The banging noise has stopped and that was a big problem. I would buy again.
