Cycle time is 10 seconds). operates on 3 aa batteries which go inside the globe. Turns on at dark and off after 4 hours. Led low glow technology extends battery life up to 4 months. Have these outside both summer and winter. Love the glowing orbs year round. Have gotten so many compliments on these . They hang from my tree branch that grows elegantly over my deck…the batteries last a very long time in these! Great for places that solar lights do not get enough sun to charge!

I purchased 4 of these hanging lamps and as the description stated it takes 3 AAA batteries which supposed to last up to 4 months, well each one of these killed the batteries in 3 weeks. I'm not looking to purchase batteries every 3 weeks. They look very nice when they are working but there should be a way for you to turn them off manually to save battery life. My recommendation is not to purchase unless you work for a battery manufacturing company.

These lights are the best I have seen with regards to a design that protects the battery compartment from the elements. Having the battery/light screwed inside the bulb is a great way to ensure long term use. I get so tired of the lights that after a year are dead due to the battery compartment rusting. Also the pulse effect makes them very unique. These grinch green lights look great with my grinch display.

These globes are beautiful and function just as advertised. What is not obvious is that if you planned to use them along with other outdoor Christmas lighting they will not sense darkness! I tested them hung on an outdoor tree that also had a strand of smaller globe lights. They never came on! They had worked fine when I first installed the batteries and turned on simply in the shade of the box next to me.This would have been great if set up with a normal 6 hours on and 18 off timer and not based on light sensor.

These are amazing! Easy to use - no maintenance- modern look! Perfect for any area! — although not bright enough- need multiple for any light - otherwise just for the ombience - does not stay on long enough- by dust when they turn on, it lights for about 4 hrs so it’s turning off in the middle of your party!
