I may be used to similar LASER projectors, but this one didn't capture my awe as much as I wanted to. I'm a big space geek, so I was really looking forward to the realistic images this came with, but it didn't meet expectations. This works sort of like those old View-Master slides I used to click through as a kid, but the images aren't high enough resolution to project it clearly. It could be the location where I'm setting it up, but the image is so stretched, it's blurry at the most distant locations. I think the brightness is fine, and the quality is pretty good. It's a pretty easy to use for adults, but small kiddos will have trouble changing out the image slides as they are super small. I think some people may like this more than me, but for now, we are going to stick with "color blob nebulae" and LASER beams.

The 360 degree rotating planetarium effect along with the different scene discs make this projector a great way to create a calming, starry atmosphere. One of the best features is the ability to control the speed of the rotation. The slow, gentle movement helps to fully immerse you in the light show, making you feel like you're gazing up at a real night sky. While the projector is easy to operate with its 3-button controls, I did find the placement and setup to be a bit tricky. Since the projector is USB-powered and doesn't come with an adapter, you'll need to have a power source nearby, such as a computer, a USB power bank or a power strip with built-in USB ports. Placing the projector on the floor and aiming it at the ceiling seems to produce the best results, creating a beautiful overhead display. Just be prepared to do a bit of adjusting and refocusing, especially when switching between the different scene discs.

I'm always searching for the right start projector. As a kid i loved the planetarium and want to recreate simmering like it at home. This is one of the closest I've found. The brightness is good and the design is pretty good. I would have liked the slides to be easier to handle, like maybe a tool to pick them up and change them with without getting finger prints on them. Over all the functionality is pretty good and compared to most others it's a good value for the money.

This projector works just as advertised and is simple and easy to use. It works best if it projecting about 6' up to the ceiling to get the best images. The rotational aspect is slow and gentle. It is a great educational tool for anyone wanting to learn about stars and galaxies. It does not create nebula and swirling images like other projectors do (which is something that I love to help calm me and put me to sleep). I also don't love the fact that you have to physically removed the educational disc's for each image. I wish they were somehow part of the unit. These are just things that I prefer.Overall it is a nice little projector and works as advertised.

This Star [and SO much more] projector by Aimetoile is SO comprehensively covered on the Description Page & in some people's video reviews that anything I say here would be repetitive & boring.Instead, I just want to share MY experience with the projector. I was able to use it directly out of the box so no delayed gratification necessary. Although the User Manual is helpful as is the Description Page, I nevertheless found the use of the projector intuitive.I live in a big bright city & in an apt. My point? I rarely get to see the sky. When I'm out taking a night time walk, I'm too busy being aware of my surroundings & even if I wasn't, it's next to impossible to even catch a glimpse of the sky when encompassed by bright lights & impossibly high buildings. I also rarely get the opportunity to leave this city environment & I feel seriously deprived of what is right above me, free of charge. Anyway, these are my issues but I'm positive I'm not alone. This projector did me the incredible favour of bringing the night sky right into my living room. When I turned the projector on, the first film was already in the projector & it was breathtaking. I have 2 strictly indoor cats, I could see their reaction to it & it was most definitely the feline equivalent of human wonder. It was right then that it occurred to me that being strictly indoor cats this was THEIR first time seeing even a facsimile, never mind this really reasonable one of the sky. After that it was one slide/film after another in quick succession each one with their own representation was something for my cats & myself to behold. I held the projector in my hand & was able to move the "sky" around from up above my head & onto the wall where the sky could be more easily accessed by the 2 felines. I love that this projector is capable of rotating, can be adjusted 360 degrees, & that it has a timer. Out of the 13 slide options. I have my favourites & I'm sure you'll have your own. I know this comes with slides/films that might be of interest to other people.Just a quick word of warning, to prevent damage don't use these film disks longer than 12 hours at a time. This is easy to prevent because the projector comes with a timer that will turn it off for you, long before you need to worry about that. Aside from the timer there are seemingly endless features that this projector offers but as I said, these are all comprehensively covered on the Description Page. This is a lovely way for me to feel a little more connected to what exists above my head in reality, yet because of where & how I live, is invisible. Some of the film discs are so incredibly realistic which has left me quite enthralled by it.I've not had it very long, nor have I had the opportunity to use it very often either. Once I have though, should something worth mentioning occur, I will be back to update &/or update & change my rating if necessary. If I could add a feature to this projector it would be to add flying meteors, I've seen this feature offered in projectors at a lesser price point. By the way, when I requested this projector about 3.5 weeks ago, it was at a lower price point than it is now. If I was purchasing this, I would wait until the price went back down.In any case I hope you enjoy this projector as much as my cats & do!Note: The use of capital letters is for emphasis only.
