Very simple to assemble. Comes with two 20v batteries. This is an upgrade (for me) going from a popular corded dethatcher to cordless. Batteries (fully charged) last for about 2400 square feet before needing a recharge. Recharge time is approximately 1 hour.The Worx Dethatcher was a pleasure to use. Simple to operate, adjustable settings. No cons as far as I can tell from the first use. Worked perfectly. So glad to be free of the cord!

It really did a great job. No complaints about the machine itself. It's very quiet. I really like it.However, I'm returning it because the collection bag is very very small, and I ended up having to rake my entire front & back with a bad back. If you don't mind the raking, it's wonderful, and you should get it.

Works ok for thatch but nothing like a real machine to put holes in one yard . For a town house or a duplex type yard . Works ok for thatch I prop door open without bag use old pants and shoes works good big yard for thatch . But bigger holes are needed for a good fall seeding

I happily own multiple Worx tools and equipment and I say that Worx has done it again.This item is easy to assembly, no tools required. I've used it once and it did a great job of dethatching my lawn. Obviously I can't yet speak about its durability but the construction appears solid.One item I'll bring up is that the bag is more of a hinderance than help if you have as much thatch as I had. Almost immediately I took off the bag since it took about 6 feet to fill it up. That may speak more to my lack of thatching over the years than undersized bag. I raked my thatch for compost.I see the price dipped significantly since I bought it so for sure I recommend this product.

Cannot walk behind as debris is discharged quite painfully.
