Better than the big box store version. These (relatively) easy to hammer in metal edge strips are excellent. They are shorter than the commonly available big-box version, but they don't require the small separate stakes those use. Being shorter bending these to a circle (to go around a tree, for example) might be more difficult. Angle bends for corners are easy. They were the perfect edging for my flagstone patio where I needed a crisp transition from the flagstone underlayment (decomposed granite) to lawn. Would buy again if needed.

These are just what the description says and just what were looking for. A few things I saw mentioned in other reviews bear repeating. One, don't open the box indoors. These are pre-rusted and in shipping some of the rust flakes come loose. You will get some rust on the floor or ground where you open the box. Two, the easiest way to put them down is one at a time. Put one piece in place, another next to it, then join the two with one of the spikes. To avoid pushing that joining spot further into the ground, if the ground is very soft, I pushed a screw driver between the two sides of the spike, twisted it a bit to widen, then pushed another screw driver in to hold the spike open the width of border piece. The result is you can slide the spike over the boarder pieces without putting downward pressure on the boarder pieces. But you could also just not worry about that and if they get pushed down just pull up on the low spots to level once finished.Three, the metal is not brittle so you can bend corners (though not sharp corners, they are rounded) without undue force. I just drew a ninety degree line where I wanted the mid point of the corner, lined that line up with the edge of the plywood top of my work bench, put my hands on the boarder piece about 6 inches above and below that line, and pushed.

Great product if you are smart enough to use it! The joiner strips work great; you must start them, then add a slight twist to fully install them. Installed the entire set very quickly. You do not have to put all the strips together before installing it. It was very easy to install one strip at a time! Also, some people don't seem to know or understand that the rust IS the protective coating for Corten steel! Did what we wanted and also looked good!

I was honestly shocked on how easy they were to make into a decent right angle corner but as long as you make the bend on a thin part and not mid spike it is quite easy and the finish doesnt crack and ruin at the bend. Only gripe is that the steaks kind of suck but if you get them to go in just right they are very subtle. When they are installed they look thin and clean.

This edging is great quality, sturdy, easy to set up and we felt a good value! It helps define the grass and mulch areas with such a clean look. We were mostly looking to keep the mulch out of the grassy areas in the yard and this is exactly what I wanted! Thank you...can't wait for you to get more in so that I can order again!!!

This is an attractive and fairly easy to install edging, however, if you are using it where you have to go around tree roots, you will definitely need more than the 11 clips they provide you. I have contacted Worth Gardens and received a reply that they do not carry 4.5" edging and therefore cannot provide me with additional clips. Looks like the reply is coming from China.
