Big things come in small packages. This compact wet dry vacuum hose stretches from 2-foot to a maximum length of 7-foot. This provides the advantage of compact and easy storage without giving up reach. The locking tab keeps this hose connected securely to your shop vacuum when in use. This vacuum hose has a built-in a bleeder valve giving the user the power to adjust the level of suction. The 1-7/8-inch diameter provides the ideal balance of maneuverability and airflow. This wet dry vac hose works with 1-7/8-inch shop vacuum accessories, and fits most shop vacuums with the standard 2-1/2-inch inlet port opening including most WORKSHOP Wet/Dry Vacs.

Like so many other reviews said this is a great hose. It is comparable to the orange 1 7/8" ridgid hose as far as quality in yet different due to it's extendable feature and is extremely flexible. It fit perfectly into my Shop-Vac from Canadian Tire. An adapter on the other end worked perfectly for my needs. Extremely happy with this purchase. Bob S.

I have to agree with other reviewers that this is a great product. I wish I'd bought one earlier to replace the 1 7/8" hose that came with my small Ridgid brand vacuum. This hose is much more flexible and kink resistant. It also takes up less room as it is elastically extendable. A replacement product that vastly improves over the original that came with the vacuum.

This hose is not stiff, it flexes very easy with no kinks and it seems very durable.

Fit our old Rigid vacuum fine - ours has a model number I don't see anywhere on the web, in these reviews, etc. (Model WD30500). I guess these 3 gallon Rigid shop vacs are all pretty similar. As some others have mentioned I think it's of higher quality than the original. I also ordered the thing at about 3 in the afternoon yesterday and it got delivered today shortly after noon. I think we're living in a simulation.

I use a Rigid wet vac as a dust collector in my workshop. I was lacking a bit of suction due to the extended original hose that came with it. I use this hose completely collapsed to tie into the system and it greatly improved performance by shortening the overall length of air travel by a number of feet.

Seems like a very good hose, fits on my shopvac brand. I like that it has the recoil , doesn't take much space, hose doesn't get tangled

It's heavy duty unlike the roto-molded original hose, and very flexible. But:1. It doesn't fit properly into the suction port of my Rigid WD06350 vac, see the picture. The male part is too small and fits loosely in the port, even when jammed all the way in. And when you do jam it in, the catch (A) ends up way past the latching point (B)... useless! Pull the hose out so that the catch is in the right place, and the fit is all loose and wobbly, no good.2. I like the retracting hose idea, it helps when storing the vac. But you have to pull so hard on the hose to extend it that you'll lift the vac right off the floor... useless.At least the nozzle end fits well.I'm returning it.

This hose fit my old Ridgid WD03650 vacuum perfectly.I'd like to clear some things up in the description of this item on both Amazon's and Workshop's website. It does NOT fit a "standard" 2-1/2-inch inlet port opening. It fits a 2-1/4 inch port opening. I don't know what's standard about 2-1/2 inches or why they say that.They claim it fits 1-7/8-inch diameter vacuum accessories. The actual hose may be 1-7/8 inches but who cares about that? The fitting on the end of the hose has an outside diameter of 1-3/4 inches, NOT 1-7/8. It fits my existing accessories perfectly.This hose is very flexible and will not kink, unlike the junky hose that came with my vacuum. You'll have to stretch it out to achieve its full length and it will retract back to its shorter size as soon as you stop pulling.The only thing I wish it had was a swivel on the accessory end but I don't think it will be a big problem because of the flexibility of the hose itself.
