I needed to check the power output and SWR on my GMRS radio in the Jeep after installing a new antenna. It was easy to calibrate, and even easier to use. BTW the antenna (that I purchased on Amazon) works great too.

Seemed to be of good quality. I ended up returning as I didn’t realize it did not measure CB band frequencies.

Have used to test home made antennas and compare the SWR of commercial antennas on 477MHz UHF CB and the 2m ham band.Easy to use. Easy to read.

I have high end digital power and swr meters in my shack but in my truck I have my ham radio and still run a chicken band for when I am traveling in the highway. The seller states this device is capable of covering ham UHF, VHF, as well as CB. It has Zero capabilities on CB. Doesn't even recognize any signal when connected to CB radio. So in this application the device is completely useless and that was the only reason I purchased this device because I thought it would be nice to have one pwr/swr meter that could stay in my truck permanently. Well, my intentions were solid but because the SELLER LIED about the product abilities, I definitely wasted time and money. The unit has no instructions included, but it is a power and swr meter, not rocket science for use. Then when you switch it to set it doesn't zero out. Zero becomes anything between 1.5 and 3.0 with no access to adjust the needle to Zero. Then in VHF testing swr the needle continues to bounce from 0 to the far right side of the case. In UHF the needle just sits and shakes in place as if it's having a seizure. To make sure it wasn't my radios I took my mfj-849 meter to the truck and checked my system with it. Everything came out perfect and radio is good. Then I used my Astatic PDC1 on the CB. A couple fine adjustments and it was business as usual. So after taking multiple devices to do what I was hoping 1 device could do I confirmed that the unit being sold here is a complete waste of time, money, and effort. The seller lied and is obviously clueless to what they are selling. Seller also showed that the unit, if purchased in the next 25 minutes, would be delivered next day. Once again, as several stores in Amazon seem to do anymore, took over a week to even get the device to the carriers office for delivery. So between the seller not having a clue about the device they are selling, and lying about delivery time, I found myself completely disgusted with the device itself and the professionalism of the seller. I am Never purchasing from this seller again and I highly recommend no one waste your time and money on this apparent POS meter.

I liked the small size, pl-259 connectors, fairly accurate (measured it with dummy load, and then with ant connected.) Almost the same as my Bird Professional SWR meter. Great value. RM

The first meter was delivered with issues - the first did not read SWR at all. I had to return it and the second one seems to work but is not measuring the same values as another meter I have. It is a good value for the price but not very accurate - good to give you a round number but not an exact one. I like it because of the large dial for the readings.

It's a good one for the money. Mine was reading 5 watts for a radio I knew to be TX'ng at 40-42 watts. I calibrated the watts via the hex pot in the rear of the unit, and I did it using two radios (0ne 25 watts and one at 40) and it's right on now. The instruction sheet in my meter made no mention of this. You just cannot put your hex wrenc all the way through the little hex pot or it will hit the metal front case and it will be way off. For this proce I may buy one or two more and just leave it in line and mount it

Arrived fast and looks good..SWR meter appears to work but power meter doesn’t, verified 65w in meter reading 5 watts..I agree with the other 2 star review, needed the SWR meter, would have been nice if the power meter worked too. I’ve read the providers return policy, if the package has been opened they can withhold 50% of the purchase price..Not worth returning...SAVE YOUR MONEY..Let the buyer beware..
