The Pros: Looks awesome! Construction is very solid! The Cons: The yellow paddle is supposed to be fiberglass, but what arrived is aluminum. The weight is advertised as less than 2.1 lbs, however what I received was 2.4 lbs. (even the aluminum version, blue, says 2.1 lbs). Doesn't seem significant, but trust me, this thing is just beefy, feels heavy, can't imagine that it actually floats (but honestly didn't test).High quality, super-solid feel, false description (received a yellow paddle that was aluminum instead of fiberglass), false weight advertising (it feels really heavy), see other reviews about lack of floating

Paddle is built strong, but for a carbon fibre I found it too heavy. Weighs in at just under 1000 grams.Price is good just too heavy.

This paddle completely changed my paddle boarding experience. I thought my board was wide and a slow cruiser. I got the Woowave and found out it wasn’t my board that was the issue it was the old paddle. The shape and curve of the blade cut through the water getting me up to a good speed and turning is on point, now. I recommend this paddle for seasoned and beginners.

There is a noticeable improvement in efficiency with this paddle compared to the one that came with my entry level SUP from the big box store. I push pretty hard through the water and have had no issues with this one. Good times!

I bought this paddle as a replacement because mine sank!! I had an AquaPlus paddle that came with my paddleboard. I loved the shape and style of my original one and this was almost a perfect match. I love the way you can pop the latch and raise or lower the handle. I wanted a sturdy latch, which this one has, and I didn’t want to spend a lot. This paddle was one of the lower priced in the style I was looking for. It’s a great paddle that is sturdy and works well. The only difference is that is a little bit heavier than my original. It’s noticeable but I’m getting used to it. I searched and researched paddles night and day for a week before I decided on this one and I’m very happy with it.

Bottom half of the paddle slipped right off while paddling in middle of a lake on my third or fourth time using it. Paddle was completely locked too. Thankfully my boyfriend was also out on his kayak and able to tow me back other wise I would have been stranded.

Bought i SUPS and needed travel paddles to go with them, and these were a great choice. Despite the blade being a bit heavier than I’d like the paddles do great in the water, feel lighter than I thought they would due to the carbon fiber shaft, which for a 3 piece adjustable is great, shaft is a good size even for women’s smaller hands, not often the case with less expensive paddles. Shipped and packed well.

I bought this paddle to replace the one that came with my inflatable SUP. That original paddle was similar to this one, but the union between the top third of the paddle and the middle third was one of those threaded compression assemblies, and that actually broke while I was on the water in the Florida Keys. This paddle has what looks like a much more robust arrangement- it's a variable tension lever lock, and it works beautifully.I've used this for two fishing outings so far, both in the marshes in Louisiana. A paddle in that environment has a rough time- the water is salty, there are oysters, pilings and some riprap to fend off, and you do a fair amount of poling and pushing rather than straight paddling. I also use it to stake out with, which means its blade is stuck in the mud while the wind and waves move the board around, and I saw no reason to be concerned that this stress would result in breakage or damage. It was a pleasure to paddle with- it felt light and rigid. One thing I'll mention is that I found it easier to paddle with the paddle"wrong" way (i.e., with the blade angling backwards rather than forwards). Held the "proper" SUP way, it felt to me like I was getting a little bit of bit of blade flutter. But this is kinda neither here nor there- the handle is easily reversed so you can hold the paddle however works for you.All in all, I am very satisfied with this paddle and its performance, and if any of the other paddles I have need replacement, this is what I'll buy.
