Basic and well made like all Wooster products. Easily adjustable and quick disassembly for cleaning. Does the job as always. Will buy again. Made in the USA, as it should be. Buy American.

I love this roller frame. This makes the job go by so much faster and it is adjustable so I can take 18 and 12 inch rollers. Installing the roller is simple. Just loosen the wing nuts pull the legs out and push back in. I painted a living room, dinning room ceiling and a 2 bed rooms in under 2 hours. Very happy with this purchase

This thing really speeds up painting. We purchased a home and wanted to repaint the whole thing. I had some 9" rollers but moving up to 18" allowed quite a bit more coverage. The arms end up slinging quite a bit more paint and eventually loosen some, but it was worth the trouble. Several people helping us wanted to buy this after seeing it in use. It's solid and well built, with a fairly simple build that would allow easy replacement of damaged or lost parts.

Don't use a standard roller to paint walls and ceilings. I painted most of my house with one--toward the end I discovered there was such a thing as an 18" roller. It makes an enormous difference in how long it takes to finish a room. You only need a 9" roller if you have some tight spaces. This frame held up well. The only adjustment in technique you have to make is you have to cut in wider than with a normal roller because the frame on this is on both ends. On the edges if you scrape the adjoining wall, the frame will leave a mark, so you have to be a bit more careful to avoid it. When adjusting the wing nuts to hold the roller, be sure to leave a fraction of an inch so the roller rotation is not impeded from the frame being too tight against the roller on the sides. To do a wall with a 8' height, load up your roller with paint--I'm using Regal Select. From your last column, start in the middle of the wall and go up and down just an inch or so away. Work it in just a few inches, and maybe some to the other side, but don't spread it around too thin because you'll get an uneven, unprofessional looking finish when you have light reflecting towards you. While this technique uses more paint than a very thinly applied coat, the result is a high quality finish, and the paint should last longer before you need to repaint. I suppose you could get by with one coat if the undercoat is the same or very similar color, but if using a very dissimilar color shows through, that should tell you that one coat over any color is really not optimal nor thick enough.

My first time singing a roller like this was a blast. I highly recommend them with the 18in brushes. Easier to keep clean, even pressure and distribution of paint. Trickier than normal near the perpendicular walls, but if you cut in and back roll a little wider, then it's not an issue.

This roller frame is lightweight wich is very important when using every day and strong too.The reason to give only 4 stars is that the bolts are too short,I can't use them but got longer ones. Many people complained about that but seems that the engineers from wooster doesn't read these reviews on Amazon .Cheap postage to Europe

Like the title says, I bought this to roll sealant on my concrete driveway. I used this for 3-4 days total sealing concrete (I have 10000 ft^2 of concrete and applied two coats). The sealant is a polymer that built up on the roller. I cleaned it off at the end of the day using gas. I also had the pole extended halfway during most of the job. This thing worked great. I have no complaints.
