This was great! My mom and I really enjoyed making the animals. It was great getting to see the process in the booklet but also gave you the freedom to make it in any size and color! Definitely recommend and will be purchasing again!

I bought this to keep me entertained while I'm the hospital and it's amazing. It's compact, interesting, easy to do but challenging enough to master the more detailed parts. It's good to pick up and put down without missing a beat. This is a new medium for me and I'm very happy. 💜

My first time felting and this kit has been great. I ordered a needle kit with a handle to make holding easier. The videos/instructions aren't suuuuper helpful but you can find YouTube videos to help you learn.

Good basic kit for needle felting, which I had never done before. Liked the feel and colors of the wool assortment. Didn't like the characters suggested so created my own based on real animal photos and needle felting photos on the internet. Using two kits plus some additional felting and colors, I made 26 felted animals, one for each letter of the alphabet, for my granddaughter. Happy to support a US based business.

I have made a whole set of figures with the pics and good instructions helping me to understand techniques that made the process easier. The only issue I have had is will the small number of felting needles included were insufficient to the task. I purchased a set of diff size felting n endless from Germany, made of stainless steel, and these have last much longer. I have a fair amount of wool leftover to make more critters. I did purchase a separate natural roving because I ran low of the white. The price of the kit is very reasonable and the book included made learning easy and fun. Nice work!

This is great kit for beginners. I'm still a beginner, so I started with the basic structures in the detailed instructions. I was able to embellish my creatures a bit and add more details using the extra photos included in the instruction booklet and on the Woolbuddy website for ideas. This is a lot of fun. I have the Woolbuddy dino kit, too

I love this kit. It's so much fun and easy to do (with help from outside video and learning sources). The quality and quantity of the wool is excellent, the felting pad is great quality. One of my issues is the kit says 2 size needles but they are not labeled and since the felting end is so fine you cannot tell if they are different sizes of not. The instruction book says there are learning videos and "classes" on the website but I think the maker kind of dropped the ball on that end. There are a few youtube videos but they are very random and not much of a selection, feels like they kind of forgot about this end of the business. It says Country of Origin is USA the kit says Made in Nepal, not sure if this is a seller issue or an Amazon listing error, either way I purchased this item based on the Country of Origin saying USA.I would still recommend this item and company to anyone wanting to learn needle felting as the kit is a great place to start and learn without spending a lot of money.

The Angler Fish was one of the projects included in the kit, along with an instructional class provided by Woolbuddy. Jackie Huang did a great job with the instructions and demonstrated step by step, how to construct the fish. He provided all kinds of suggestions on how to be creative and make the design of the fish uniquely your own. He also answered all of our questions about the tools used and ways to create the shapes involved. Great class!! He encourages his students to be creative and experiment. I will certainly be attending other classes and purchasing kits from Woolbuddy in the future.
