We strive to make a difference in making our Woolbuddy needle felting kits. Our felting kits are for beginner adults, kids, and anyone! These are starter kits that don't need any complicated tools and a minimalist approach. Our carded colored wool doesn't contain any synthetic materials that can harm our environment. Our wool roving is dyed making it look like natural color. This felt animal kit is a unique design from yours truly.
This felt kit is an easy DIY craft and includes the following felting supplies:

I did have fun learning to felt, however, I purchased the kit because it showed teal wool included. There was no teal, and instead received a basic green color and baby blue. What the heck?

I can't believe this kit has 4 1/2 stars! The color of the wool didn't match the picture and I know that there could be some color variation, but this was not even close. I thought the material was extremely poor quality. I've purchased several wool kits before with long, soft, flowing strands of wool...the wool in this kit look like the strands had been hacked with scissors. Which made working with this kit a disaster! Very poor quality not worth the MONEY!!! I might even try to return my poorly made owls for a refund.

This is my first time doing a felt/wool project. I am not very crafty or artistic, but I think I did okay! Not gonna lie - it was extremely soothing to stab the wool over and over 😂One suggestion I would make is the instructions just say to stick the wings on the sides, but do not really show an illustration. For the novice like me, that part was a little too ambiguous, and I think my wings (not shown) look a bit wonky.The other suggestion I would have is the kit would be improved if it offered the styrofoam square to put the wool upon. I ordered 2 kits from different sellers at the same time, and stole the styrofoam square from my other kit.Overall, I REALLY enjoyed this, and do recommend. I completed my owl while I was watching TV and found it to be very relaxing. My 16 year old daughter made the other one, and hers ended up better than mine. 😂 I will definitely be making more stuff like this!~The Wifey

I worked on it with my 6 year old granddaughter. I was worried she’d get hurt with that pointy needle, but she learned it with one incident only. I, on the other hand…She worked on one owl by herself, while I was modeling the process on the other. It worked wonderfully, but mind, she is a VERY focused kid. I’d evaluate it as 8+ Activity

This is such a cool craft but it isn’t as easy as it sounds. Also the needles are very very sharp and numerous times I stabbed myself to bleeding. It’s fun, but there is a learning curve and it helps to watch YouTube videos!
