This fits 5kg bag of rice just nicely. The first thing noticed was smells of Hinoki wood so refreshing!The magnet was a bit weak to hold the measuring cup so I just throw it on top of rice.After 1 month of use..........my kid refused to eat rice. Then I noticed the rice has very strong smells transferred from the wood. I washed the rice many times and even added sake to cook with but the smells wouldn’t go away. Ended up replacing with a plastic container. This was very pricey purchase for me and when I found out about this issue it’s already passed the return window. I wish I knew if there's a way to remove this smell.
