The unit on the left is the 1.9 qt unit, which is big enough for a bag (and a third?) of brown sugar, a bag of instant pancake mix, etc. The unit on the right is the 2.7 qt unit - the same height but just a little wider. I could fit three and a half bags of dried beans in there.The POP generation of storage improves the gasket seal. The earlier version (left) had a little ring that just went around the edges of the lid. Now there is a little “diva cup” gasket that covers the entire underside of the lid, keeping air and bugs out better.

We love all our OXO products. These containers are always air tight & great for storage. We love that they come in varied sizes. Here we labeled them with what is inside. It makes for easy & organized access. Can't say enough good things about OXO!

I love these containers, I bought quite a few, easy to get lid off, heavy duty container, clear to see through, and comes in all sizes and shapes.

Is not the same as the ones you buy in a store. Seal is not as good. If it topples over the lid pops off. Will not buy these again from Amazon
