These are very cheap, thin ( wide and thickness) and kinda flimsy. Length is ok. Not the ones I was expecting. I'd already opened so didn't return. Will not buy again. Get what ya pay for!

Purchased for my office. The stir sticks are exactly as described in the listing. They are mostly all smooth and in tact with nice rounded ends. There is the occasional one that is a little wonky but even those will still work fine to stir a splash of sugar/cream into your coffee or tea. No noticeable weird smells. For the price and quantity, this was the best deal I found on Amazon.

These are really good disposable stir sticks, good length and firm enough to get a good stir. Only thing I didn't like was the packaging, I didn't do too well in the shipping.

I've been reading about how plastic, especially black plastic, is horrible for your health. Evidently it leaks a cocktail of nasty chemicals when heated. And I've been using black plastic stir sticks for years, in my hot coffee and tea. I am thrilled that these wooden ones are available.These sticks are wide and do a great job of stirring coffee or tea. Plastic stir sticks tend to be round and they take more stirring to get the job done. These are flat and they are like boat oars! Just a few seconds gets the job done. I have found them all to be uniformly smooth and free of slivers. They are the perfect length for tall latte cups.If I let one sit in a beverage for a long time (more than 15 minutes), I can detect a very slight wood taste. Actually, it is not unpleasant in tea. Green tea has a sort of wooden, paper bag taste in any case. I would certainly buy these again.

There isn't much to say about a box of flat wooden sticks. Or rather the only thing to say would be if they were poorly made, or too short, or some other negative thing. But none of those negatives apply here so there isn't much to say. It's a huge box of wooden coffee stir sticks. At 7.5 inches a little longer than is sometimes common which is useful for a larger cup of coffee. And although disposable is not always good, these are a far cry better than plastic in many respects, and easier to deal with than a huge pile of reusable spoons.As noted, these are nicely finished, and have very few sticks with odd wooden flaws unlike some brands.

I like that these are natural wood. I am not a big fan of disposable plastic items. The 7.5" ones are more than enough for stirring coffee in standard mugs and will work fine for many travel mugs except for tall tumblers. They are sturdy for enough for drinks and I will also keep some around for mixing epoxy. Might be a little flexible for that but should work fine for small jobs and thin glues. Probably many other applications too.So while the product is good, the shipping was not so good. The first box showed up in a padded envelope. THe box inside was crushed open, and they spilled out inside the envelope breaking some of them. I requested a replacement and got the same thing with less spillage and no damage. These really should have been shipped in an outer carboard box to protect them. No fault of the vendor, but don't be surprised if you get a bag of parts in the delivery. The thin paper box they are packed in is not enough to hold up to shipping.

Perfect for coffee, hot cocoa, teas, mixed drinks which frees up all the spoons from working so diligently and there fore reduces dishes. Huge supply in the box and should last a long time. Will note here that when opening the box, there is a lot of wood dust ( as seen in picture of lid of box) so make sure you rinse each stick prior to use, some stirs are not perfectly shaped but not a deal breaker. These according to the box are BPA, chemical free, non toxic, use in hot/cold drinks, 100% natural birch wood.
