When you boil water in a microwave, you're supposed to put a stick or something in the water to keep it from superheating and causing an explosion. I had been using bamboo or plastic chopsticks for this, but the plastic ones would melt and the bamboo ones would lose their finish. These stir sticks are perfect. They're smooth, they're reasonably priced, and they're compostable after use.

These work great to stir my coffee daily and come in a huge quantity. I love that they’re biodegradable and that’s what sold me! I’ve repurchased this product a few times now. They look aesthetically pleasing store in an open mason jar on my coffee bar.
