This is a great product. I am 68 year old and when I was in a store buying a new pair of boots. I was struggling to get my boots off, like I do every night, when the sales clerk was walking past me. He stopped walk over to the counter and came back with this wooden board with horns. I Look at it with a bank stare, The clerk looked at me and smiled and said "You have never seen this before, have you" to which I confirmed "I did not". He show once and I have never had such an easy time pulling off my boots in my life. So when I got home I order this one. Best thing I have done for my life in a long time.

Before I had this, I struggled to remove my winter boots, especially when wearing heavy socks. This makes it so easy to remove them!

the bottom of this was atrtached to the top pull by three tiny little 4mm pn heads so unsuprizingly it was already in two bits before it came out the packing - not a hope of it being used as a boot jack for pulling off riding boots/wellies etc. Needs rethinking how to assemble it in manufacture or pulling off sale as not fit for purpose.

The item is poorly made, tiny staples to hold it together, unable to hold together during the postage trip, let alone being able to be used for pulling off boots! Very disappointed with this purchase!

Pros - Seems to be well constructed. Good heavy wood. Nice attractive shape, and pretty finish. Seems to function well. Bought this as a gift for a friend for birthday. Have not given it yet, so it has only been tested by me once. We will see how she likes it later. Cons - I wish the wood was heavily coated with polyurethane or some other water repellant. After repeated use in cold wet weather, I can imagine the finish will not look so nice. I also wish that the bottom piece was attached with a countersunk screw in addition to the gluing. I wonder how long the glue joint alone will hold it together solidly. Still, on balance, good product at a reasonable price.
