Building this was surprisingly difficult. Comes with screws and a hex wrench, which is odd considering you have to wrench these into solid wood. The screws don't have a normal screwdriver head. A normal screw that needed a screwdriver would have made more sense for the pressure and drilling you need to do. Secondly, the hex wrench didn't even fit the screws, but thankfully I had my own.The wood is not great quality. It's definitely coated in something that knicks and scrapes easily, with damage marks already out of the box. Simply push your finger nail into the wood ever so slightly and you'll leave an indent.For the price, it's whatever, but there are better options out there I'm sure.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this ladder! Used it at Christmas to hang our stockings on & decided to keep it in the room as permanent decor. It is very sturdy! The color of stain is just what I was looking for. Couldn’t be more pleased!

I had a little difficulty at first with the screws but once I got everything aligned it was fine. For the price point I would recommend it.

This ladder is beautiful. Seems solid and I love that the tall side pieces are one solid piece instead of individual pieces like most other ladders I looked at. The finish is so nice.

Love this to keep our blankets organized and the ladder fills that empty space! Love the wood tone and sturdiness of it! It was extremely easy to assemble and it does come with rubber stickers to keep it from scratching the wall or floor! We have had it for a while and it literally stays in place! I was a little worried about it moving or sliding but that is not the case! Lovely accent for any space!
