This towel rack has a solid design. It folds nicely, looks decent from a distance, and does what it's supposed to do. But the fit and finish definitely leave something to be desired.The gold coating has visible chips and gouges where the finish wasn’t evenly applied. A couple of the rods on the shelf section even came unglued and fell out while I was mounting it. Not ideal.That said, I bought it for my workshop to hold my foam cannon, car wash supplies, and drying towels. Looks weren’t a top priority, and functionally it works just fine. If you’re putting this in a place where aesthetics matter, you’ll probably want to keep looking. If you just need something that holds stuff and folds up, it’ll do the job.I couldn't decide whether to give three or four stars. It does what it set out to do, but the general lack of quality lets it down.

I have handled a similar but not as wide shelf similar to this and it was less flimsy feeling. While this one may not feel flimsy after installation, the shelf doesn't quite stick out at a right angle without more pressure than a stack of 3 bath towels is likely to provide.Does that matter to you? Maybe not.

This is an attractive bathroom shelf. It's black with brass colored accent brackets. It's approximately 23" × 9". The shelf can be left flat or raised against the wall to allow for extra space for hanging towels. Its sturdy but limited as to how much weight can the placed on the shelf. It's good for folded towels or toilet paper to be placed on it. The shelf can store any number a bathroom related items. It has a towel bar as well as hooks next to the wallon its back mount. I'm using mine for toilet paper. It's very contemporary.
