Wanted to teach my kids how to play the recorder. This thing doesn't even hold a tone, needs a full lungs to make a sound. More a whistle than a recorder.

My kids love to play beautiful glass breaking music on this. They get hours of entertainment and unfortunately it has not broken after it got lost in the driveway, accidentally thrown at the wall, and trampled on, by accident, and the dog apparently thinks it will kill him because after accidentally dropping it in his pen or attempting to play fetch, he refuses to touch it, the traitor.

I bought this for my great nephew because he loves recorders and he loved it. It is very durable and since my great nephew was only 2 and it is a year later, I have to say that is a definite plus. It still looks almost new.

Cute and colorful, but doesn’t work. The right hand finger holes for e and f notes make zero noise. Don’t waste your time or money! Also, I selected the option to return this item to a UPS store for them to package and print the label, only to be told their systems are down. In the Amazon website, there is no option to change the return method once you initiate. So this flute now resides in my purse until they all can get their acts together. Bah humbug!

My grandkids were very happy getting this recorder, they called it a flute. It's been keeping them well occupied learning how to play it and they've had an easy time figuring it out.
