My 2.5 YO son loves this caterpillar- it has 2 modes- lights on ( no movement, no sound) and lights on, walking around using sensors to not hit anything and playing saxophone music. My son loves having the lights on when he's watching his shows and he likes the music, movement on when all the rest of the time. I wish there was a volume button because it is pretty loud but I really love that the music isn't annoying, it is more of a calming Kenny G type vibe which is better than roaring dinos or really any of the other toys sounds that we have. It is fun to watch it move around because the lights change all around and it hasn't gotten "stuck" yet which , I as a mom, appreciate.

This toy is cute, colorful, and a lot of fun for my great-granddaughter. Batteries are not included. This would be a 5-star toy if batteries were included.

This is such a cute toy, and it's hilarious watching it move around. The lights are a lot of fun, but the song gets old really quickly. It's cute at first, but there's no option to change it. There are also buttons around the base that look like they'd be pressable, but they aren't. The last thing that concerns me is that there are some small pieces on there and it feels like it might be easy for a kiddo to break them and risk being hurt. This is overall a very cute toy, but should only be used with an adult present, and picked up when not in use.

This arrived so quickly. It didn't arrive with batteries so prepare to order some separately. It works great once on. It's a great way to bring music to your toddler. Perfect for nonverbal babies or for stimulation!

It's a great dancing toy but it's WAY too loud without a volume control method. Also, there are only 3 operating modes...off, lights on, lights & music on. If you want more control, get a different toy. Very disappointed.

Joyful high energy toy for the babies and toddlers. Be prepared for it to bump, roll, and tear right off... off the side of a table if you got it there, or if on the floor it'll go where it can reach and probably have your toddler chasing after. Block the stairs!Lots of tireless music, flashing lights, and animated wiggling.Don't forget to remove the wheel cover or it won't be mobile, although this might be desired if you want it stationary. Also, a quiet statue mode can be chosen via the switch where only the flashing lights are active.No manual, but not really needed. No packing so it bangs around and tears the box up a little… fortunately no damage in this case. 3 AAA needed by you. It would be terrific if other animated parts, different speeds & volumes, or additional song selections were pickable by the "buttons" around the base but sadly they don't do anything. That would be the future $35 deluxe model perhaps.For ~$25 this is great entertainment. Highly recommended.

I got this for a one-year-old for her birthday and it was definitely a hit. My only complaint is that it just isn't made of good quality materials, so I'm not sure how long this thing will last before it breaks. Kids can be pretty hard on toys, and I'm not sure this is made durable enough. I'll also be keeping an extra close eye on the antennae, because if it breaks off it could become quite the choking hazard. While it is cute, I just couldn't give it 5 stars.

The dancing caterpillar toy is simply adorable and very entertaining for a crawling infant. It plays music, dances, and rolls around. To roll it needs a smooth circle, like hardwood floor. It won’t roll on the carpet. Visually, the toy is well made. It’s very vibrant with flashy lights. The music can be on or off depending on the mode. The toy operates on three AA batteries that are not included. It’s very entertaining watching the caterpillar bumping into obstacles and then changing direction. My 9-month old was instantly captivated with this toy. Highly recommend!
