I had to order this replacement because the original one that came with my Wondershade was defective…you couldn’t insert the umbrella into it. It worked once just fine, and then never again. This replacement? Opposite problem…you could insert and lick the lever, but it never actually locked. Sheesh!

The seller did not make it clear that it comes just as the stand and without any accessories necessary to make it work. In order to secure the umbrella base, you need to insert metal pins that go into the sand. I was happy with the umbrella initially and then it tore so I had to buy the top portion, few months later the base needed replacement. I bought the base thinking it will come with its NECESSARY components but it did not. I only found out after I received the delivery. If you want to know this type of info, you need to read the Q&A section. Overall, the product is probably good but the customer experience is not at all.

I used it to stand my sportsbrella. Works like a charm! Easy to assemble and collapse. Love it! I have two.
