Used it to install the dual pane window. It has held up the window well with couple of hail storms and lots of strong windy thunderstorms. Need to see how it performs in winter against the cold. It had handled the current season quite well.

I recently refaced our kitchen cabinets and my wife wanted some of them to be glass for displaying some heirloom dishes. I wasn't sure how I was going to mount the glass at first, but then I came across this stuff. The size was perfect to fit in to the rabbet I had cut on the frames. My only complaint is that the tape didn't stick very well to the painted MDF of the frame. Not really surprising, because it was a little rough. I didn't sand the inside of the rabbet, so it was just the rough saw cut. It did stick very well to the glass though, and had I done a better job of prep on the frame it probably would have stuck better there too.Of course, I never intended to hold the glass just with tape. I pin-nailed trim around the inside so there was a mechanical aspect as well. Should I ever need to replace the glass, I can just remove the trim pieces. The doors came out great, and the tape provides enough give to all the frame to flex a little without breaking the glass. No rattles either. I'm happy.

I had to replace the IGU (Insulated Glass Unit) in a couple sliding doors due to what I assume was the e-coating breaking down and getting cloudy. The foam tape worked great for what I used it for, but I have nothing to compare it to so I have no idea if it's better or worse than another brand. I will say that the adhesive is almost too strong as I had one area where the glass touched the tape before I was lined up and I ended up ripping the foam in half while trying to realign the glass.
