This double sided foam tape is being used to help the vapour barrier stick to the ends to the studs and to add a thermal break as wood is a bad insulator compared to the green Rockwool insulation in my trailer build. It's solid, attaches and sticks very well at normal temperatures (not as good in colder temperatures when applying initially) but once the adhesive sticks, it sticks very well. I applied staples just in case but that's just me adding an extra layer of protection because I don't know the performance long term of the adhesive. I expect it will be totally fine based on my experience with the product so far and would happily buy it again. This stuff is a dream compared to the 'equivalent' product from Home Depot (cough cough) which was an absolutely horrible product. You'll see the grey/white Home Depot product which I had bought first in the 4th image on the right. It does NOT stick even with it being double sided whereas this camper tape (with the peel off blue plastic sticks very well. I would definitely recommend this product.

Chasing leaks at the front of my new camper shell I found the installer had not run the foam seal tape across the front of the cab to mate with the foam seal tape on the sides. I used an additional strip of this tape under the front edge to complete the seal. note: this foam has double-sided adhesive. I pulled the blue backer off and essentially taped my shell to the bed. In hindsight I probably could have left the backer on, this would have allowed the future removal of the shell without destroying the layers of foam seal along the front and/or making alignment of the shell to the bed easier. But I don't get water leaking in anymore and that was the main objective. If I ever pull the shell I'll need to re-do the front foam seal

This was a great product initially, very sticky and couldn’t get it off of my fingers. I used it to mount wiring and lights in a camper shell. Unfortunately when the sun hits the shell these completely loose their “stick” and my wiring has come down. I won’t purchase again

Used for a truck topper, sticks too well lol as we weren't quite even putting the topper in place and it wouldn't budge for adjusting it.

Brakes easily if folded during installation pictures make it seem twice as thick as it is. I wouldn't recommend I won't buy it again

Beware this tape is double-sided and cannot be repositioned. If you need to adjust it you’ll have to painstakingly scrape the stick off of both sides since it will separate in the middle of the foam. I would have preferred a more rubbery texture and one-sided adhesive to attach my Jeep’s hardtop, but this still works.*So far so good on the waterproofing…I’ll update if that changes.

Great product and fast shipping. Only thing I didn't realize was it is double sticky side. I missed that, was looking for same product but single stick side. My bad
