I like this as it's made from a sort of wetsuit fabric that lies flat. Other cat mats I've had were of sisal or fabric that didn't lay flat. This is easy to wipe and thus easy to keep clean.

Really cute but not waterproof so it will be hard to clean. This is basically a mousepad. It's got a fabric top with the print on it and a foam rubber backing. It might make a good Pokemon card deck playing mat but I don't think it will resist wet cat food stains and water dish splashes. That's unfortunate because it is pretty cute. The mat I previously used is all rubber and it gets a lot of crumbs and fur on it. I just hose it off in the sink and if it's really dirty, I put it in the dishwasher.This isn't going to be as simple. Maybe I can put it in the washing machine once or twice before the fabric surface starts to peal away from the foam backing but I don't think this is going to be as forgiving as a fully rubber mat when it comes to stains and cleaning.I show it with my cell phone on top for sizing.

Works great. This mat is protecting my table from the mess my cat makes when she eats. Size is perfect for both food and water bowl.
