This is just a average mat its not real thick and isnt one of those real thin ones. I love it to put under my cats water fountain to keep the floor under it safe from all the water. Its big enough for this.

See pic.This silicone mat is very straightforward. We have it to protect our floor from one of the cat's fountains.It's a smaller fountain so this fits pretty perfectly.The quality of the mat is just ok. I feel that handling it would damage it. I haven't moved it or don't plan to move it for any reason unless it got dirty.This picture was taken one month after using it. It's still in like new condition. For the price, I'd get another one. 4 stars overall.

This pet food mat is okay, does the job just fine. Keeps spills and drips off the floor, is easy to clean. It is a little smaller than I thought it would be.

If you are looking for a relatively small, thin, flexible silicone mat to protect your hard floor, this mat might be worth looking at.The mat itself is very thin, almost translucent if you hold it up to the light. On a hard surface it will provide some protection to the floor, but it is not suitable for use on carpet because the material is too thin to provide a stable surface.Keep in mind that the raised edge or lip is less than half the thickness of a dime (see photo) so will do nothing to keep water or kibble from spilling out.Finally, for what you are getting this mat is quite pricey compared to alternatives.

Really appreciate that it's not very expensive. Just needed a basic mat to put under our water fountain. Fits perfectly and helps protect the floor.

I needed a washable mat so bad for my kittens playpen. Weaning kittens is very messy with wet food and water around. They love knocking these things over or slopping it all over the place. This has really helped. It's a great size for cats, not too big and not too small. Very easily washable. Silicone helps the bowls not move around.

My cat clawed through it the very first day. Ripped to shreds whenever she would drink water. Bought a cheaper, sturdier, scratch resistant one.

This is almost like a coating than a mat. It's pretty thin, and if your cat claws at it, it'll easily pierce it, it's quite thin. The dimensions are a bit misleading because since it's a cut circle, it's smaller than a square mat would be of the same dimensions. Overall, if your cat doesn't claw it, I think it's fine.
