Product works fine. They don't tell you the colors to match up to and most people don't just keep schematics laying around for ceiling fans. Here is what the wires need to be:Connect the black wire to L. Then, you can wire Purple to 1, Yellow to 2, and Orange to 3.This worked fine for my on my Hampton Bay 3 speed fan.
