These weights make cutting out a paper pattern faster and easier then using pins. They also help preserve the integrity of tissue patterns. The paper pattern should last longer. Ultra smooth glass to help weights slide without causing wrinkles.

These are great weights for sewing, I can cut my fabric quickly and accurately without taking the time to use pins. Highly recommend.

I used these as weights to hold the down the corners of posters that had been curled up in tubes. They worked perfectly for this.

These helped a lot in holding down my Swedish tracing paper while I traced my original pattern. I used it also for cutting those traced patterns out, since the edges of the tracing paper like to curl on me. I like that I don’t have to pin my paper down just to trace and cut the patterns. I haven’t used it to pin down and cut my pattern to my fabric yet. I think I still prefer to pin that down. These glass weights are about the size of the bottom of a coffee mug, and the glass is pretty much as thick as a bottom of a glass vase or beer glass.

I cut a lot of fabric daily and I can't believe I waited this long to get these. They are perfect for keeping my paper patterns in place. I have dropped them on my hardwood floors a few times and they didn't Crack.They are beautiful and are a good weight. About the size of my palm. I store them in the box they came in bc it has foam dividers and I'm scared to keep them anywhere else.

I bought these because I thought the clarity of the glass would be helpful but they are sooo muchhh betterr than I could have imagined. They are a good weight, sturdy and well constructed, and they give me the transparency I need. They are wayyy nicer looking in person. I highly recommend!

Great looking pattern weights. Lovely and smooth. A bit lighter than I was expecting though. I would prefer them to be heavier. If you are mostly working with lightweight fabrics these would be perfect, but if you are working with heavier fabrics these may not be suitable for you.

First off, I think these might be the most beautiful things I've ever used for sewing. That being said, they could be a little heavier. They work really well for holding down paper but not so much for fabric. Though they are still pretty handy and I'll probably be buying more. Warning: youay think I'm crazy about the weight when you hold them in your hands and they feel quite sturdy, but after your fabric starts to slide you'll realize what I mean. Have no fear though😆 If you order enough of them I'm sure they'll hold up. Plus it's really nice to be able to see markings through them ( and they have a cool magnifying aspect) so they aren't really in the way...much

I've used vintage pattern weights for years wishing they still made them because I would purchase more in a heartbeat.Well I'm glad they don't because these are BETTER!I've used the canvas rounds with lead in them that are currently sold in fabric stores (and they're okay)... but nothing special.THESE... THESE ARE AMAZING! Seriously, they're bigger meaning you need less of them & they're just fantastic.Seriously, I hope these end up in fabric stores to replace the currently sold canvas ones- they're that good!In the past I've had 6 pattern weights that I would use, so I ordered 2 sets of these, however, because they're larger I have found I don't necessarily need the second set.Don't question getting these. You'll love them!If they slide around too easily for you because they're glass I would suggest adding felt to the bottom.For my purposes they're heavy enough that they stay put with no issues.These weigh 5.6oz per weight
