I really enjoyed using this grinder daily, for a really consistent fine grind. Only problem is that the plastic tabs will break off (grinder would still function ok), and ultimately the center ring started spinning so no more grinding. If it was just a little bit more robust, it'd be perfect. As it is I'm happy with the seven or eight months that we spent together, and will probably upgrade to a better (pricier) grinder next.

This is a great way to up your coffee game by a big margin, at a low cost. I was using pre-ground espresso in my espresso machine, and switched to grinding beans fresh with this, and the difference in quality was huge. I think for me, a big reason for the improvement is that I was able to experiment with different coarseness settings to find one (8, if you want to know) that produced good results with my espresso machine. So, I definitely recommend this for home espresso machine users (another nice feature: it’s the right size for grinding the coffee directly into the espresso brew handle, at least on my machine), though pour-overs might not benefit as much from this.

Bought both this and the Wirsh single cup brewer. Both work great and are easy to use. The grinds are consistent and according to fineness settings. Takes about a minute to grind with automatic shutoff a few seconds after hopper empty. Would recommend

I really like this little grinder. It does a good job on the coffee beans, and USB charged, it goes for a month. I used it daily until it quit. There are three little plastic tines that twist-latch the two halves of the metal grinder together after you fill it. One broke off and it worked OK for a while, then a second one snapped and now it works no more. It lasted five months for which I dinged it three stars. Does not look like a replaceable part, either. Definitely the weak link in this machine. Maybe the manufacturer will help me out?UPDATE: the manufacturer replaced the entire unit for the cost of shipping. A good result.The only other negative is that they are always a few unground beans when it automatically stops.

Someone wrote this review, and I just want to post it here again because it is exactly what happened to my grinder:I was thrilled about this for months. Used it to grind 1 cup of coffee each morning. As stated in other reviews, one by one the plastic lock tabs broke off, ground into the coffee (nooooo!!!!!!!) and this morning the motor completely burned up, also scary and upsetting fire hazard. Now my house and fingers smell toxic. Pretty bummed about it, because it was a perfect, adjustable grind while it was working, small and convenient, loved that it was chargeable and could use for travel easily. I honestly hope they are able to remedy these design flaws because it was great while it was great.

The teeth locking the drive end to the grinder will break. WILL break. One was barely tapped on the counter and half broke off, the other it was dropped 4” onto the counter top and broke another off.For a product that needs to be opened this way for EVERY use, this is horrible design.No refund for this available due to the damage, but the damage never should have occurred.AVOID.
